伦敦国王学院(King's College London)的研究人员发现，“男胖子”瘦回正常体重的
几率为1/210，“女胖子”的这一比例为1/124。
即便你成为了那几百分之一，也不要高兴太早。研究称，有1/12的男性和1/10的女性能
够做到每年减重5%。但其中53%的人会在两年内反弹回去，78%的人五年内会重回原态。
这一发现被刊登在《美国公共卫生杂志》(American Journal of Public Health)上。
经合组织(OECD) 2014年发布的一份报告显示，OECD国家中有超过半数的成年人超重或
肥胖，其中18%的属于后者。墨西哥、新西兰和美国，超过三分之一的成年人有肥胖症
；在澳大利亚、加拿大、智利和匈牙利，这一比例超过四分之一。相对而言，亚洲国家
成年人的这一比例维持在2%至4%之间。
近期发布的《中国居民营养与慢性病状况报告（2015）》也指出，中国18岁及以上成年
人的超重率为30.1%，肥胖率为11.9%，比2002年分别上升了7.3和4.8个百分点。
