随便就买了个Britax Roundabout
想着到时候就上booster了
现在后悔死了
roundabout大概到五十磅
所以现在我们只好又跑去买了一个将近两百块钱的car seat
可以坐到65磅，然后就是当booster 用的
虽然现在上booster也还可以
但还是想着car seat安全点
早知如此当年就上马拉松了
直接到65磅
多花不了多少钱

traffic wreck at Harbor Boulevard and Valencia Mesa Drive in Fullerton on
Thursday afternoon.
Police say one of the drivers was going the wrong way on Harbor Boulevard. A
Ford pickup truck was upside-down and on top of an SUV just behind a
mangled sportscar. A minivan, another SUV and several sedans surrounded the

【Deal】Britax Boulevard Convertible Carseat $139
今天照着之前版上的mm提供的price match的方法给娃儿定了一个著名的Britax
boulevard convertible car seat。虽说版上好像定Britax marathon的更多，可是我比较了一下，boulevard比marathon高端一些，但是价格并不贵，所以就定了boulevard，而且看起来好像就是多了那个side impact protection的wings，感觉应该安全性能更高一些，万一娃娃不喜欢到时候拆掉就跟marathon一样了，所以还是boulevard划算一些。最后相当于$148买了这一款

感觉颜色挺素的，男娃女娃都能用。如果不挑花色的还可以选这个颜色，最后相当于$139 shipped（如果你有1000点pampers points）。

最单薄，boulevard里面有个加厚点的保护，advocate在boulevard的基础上外面再加了
层保护，所以car seat 就特别占地方。另外还有一点，不知道是不是G3和旧款的区别
还是，boulevard和advocate的区别，那个seat belt设计不一样，我上月刚买的
boulevard－G3的seat belt上端部分固定住了，很不好调节松紧。但我今年6月买的
advocate旧款的就没这问题，松紧很好调。如果你有机会去店里看实物的话，可以比较
一下这个seat belt的问题。我都是网购，没机会好好比较。 |

方，另外万一放飞机座椅上，占地也是问题。boulevard和pavilion的区别在于后者拉
紧保险带时有个声音提示。不太清楚marathon，可能头部保护没有boulevard，
pavilion强。最近deal挺多的，我买的pavilion都比boulevard便宜。 |

洛杉矶地区没有最好的私立高中，只有最合适的私立高中。四所最严格私立高中是
Flintridge Prep, Pasadena Poly, Webb 和 Harvard-Westlake. 有些人可能会说最严
格的就是最好的，但对于大部分学生来说这种说法不对。对于大部分学生来说这种严格
的学校压力过大，每晚五小时的家庭作业 (脑子好使的), 加上周末，从九年级开始就
用大学程度课本。再加上2到3小时的体育训练或者演奏练习，加上社团，公共服务，和
课外活动。在申请大学的时候，大学不会因为你上一所非常难的私立学校，而对你网开
一面，反而在这里更难拿到好成绩。
最好从你所居住的周围开始咨询，因为你不会想要每天开很远的路程。就算是比较不那
么难的学校每晚也有3到4小时的家庭作业。有些学校有非常强的运动计划或者艺术计划
，所以选什么学校完全看你需要什么。不要太看中升学率，因为那主要取决与学生而不
是学校。

boulevard 70和boulevard 70 cs的区别就是那个click & safe的feature。cs那款你用
手拉
下面那个带子，听到卡吧声就说明还不够紧要再拉，没有cs那款就是凭自己感觉调松紧
。其实差不太
多，偶觉得对妈妈来说可能手上没那么大劲有个cs方便一点。就贵20刀吧。

保护更好一点儿，当然相应的头部两边突出来的部分会挡宝宝视线，据说有的宝宝不喜
欢。70, 65就是体重上限吧。虽然我估计不到上限就会换。

发帖数: 2606 | 41 娃越来越大了. 一直用的是 safety 1st 的 travel system. 那个 infant car seat 显得越来越小了. 于是开始考虑买什么大的 car seat.
经过一番 research, 发现基本上有两条路.一个是现在买 convertible car seat, 用到娃长到 65磅或者70磅的时候再买 booster seat; 另外一个办法是一步到位,买一个非convertible 但是能用到 100 磅的 car seat (不需要另外买 booster seat). 这第二个选择明显会省钱, 但是作为父母, 当然又想尽自己努力给娃提供最好的条件....
纠结啊纠结.

boulevard,my son loves it.马拉松没有head protection,也不能随意调节肩带长度.
Advocate 比boulevard,还多一层泡沫，据说车祸碰撞的时候自己会吸能粉碎掉，保护
性能比Boulevard 更好。当然也是最贵的。我的经验：不能单看便宜，有的便宜的，是
因为已经出厂一两年了。车座有效期只有六年，这样娃就不能坐到６岁或更久了。 |

25日，之后致电amazon客服想跳过14天的注册批准期直接开始下单，结果被告知现在这
个方法已经行不通。
无奈只能等到14天满，amazon通知可以redeem了。
这中间14天，每天看到感兴趣的商品都add to baby registry，就像加入wish list一
样方便下次查看。
redeem时，先点击了“redeem now”，被告知所有商品必须从redeem生成的这一页baby
registry列表中add to cart，否则不生效，所以把registry中我确定需要购买的add
to cart，amazon会出一个promotion 10%off的金额，就是符合打折要求的商品的总金
额的10%，然后去checkout，就完成了。

marathon还是要厚。。。pavilion比boulevard多了一个Click & Safe located, 所以
pavilion比boulevard还要贵个二三十块。。。不知道说的对不对？？ |

得是booster，难道这种有靠背的不叫booster了？我好像没说一定要没靠背的，我在
Amazon搜booster，这是第一个啊。。。占地，我不是没概念吗？所以才问下，这种有
靠背的booster外加一个convertible (britax boulevard)，middle size sedan，中间
还能坐下一个人吗？
或者我理解错了，也没必要无语吧。。。有靠背的这种不叫booster？也不叫
convertible，那到底叫什么名字啊，我学习下。。。
我看convertible肥瘦差别也很大啊，advocate非常之肥大，占地方呢，boulevard也挺
肥大的啊，如果俩boulevard，中间座位估计很难坐下人了。。。

Boulevard > Marathon
不考虑特别deal的话，一般认为买Boulevard性价比比较高。说实话M现在看稍稍显得简
陋了一些哈(当然M是很经典的，而且安全都是有保障的)，B该有的都有了，P比B多了
click safe (CS),但评价毁誉参半。A又多了外侧两边的保护垫，所以要宽一些，稍占
空间。
今年底开始Bratix主推click tight (CT)技术，A，B，M都出了相应的CT的版本。但CS
和CT好像不兼容，至今没有看到有P带CT的。其实最早P就叫Boulevard CS。这个系列本
来就是后来加出来的，所以估计P会逐渐谈出。
另外，Bratix同时也升级了不带CT的G4到G4.1。貌似没有改什么，仅增加了对latch的
承重(好像是新法规的要求)。但目前市面上有卖的不多，主流还是G4。
其实车坐椅更新换代也挺快的，基本一年出一代，G3去年还好好的，现在已经在britax

法語中的Boulevard 與 Avenue 都譯成大道。兩者到底有何區別一直不甚了然。對此，
鹿島茂在《巴黎文學散步》中有詳盡的說明，值得一抄︰
「Boulevard一詞，是指沿著環繞都市的城牆舊址而建的環狀大道，尤以從馬德蓮廣場
到巴士底廣場的林蔭大道最有名，只不過其間各路段有不同的名稱。
「至於Avenue一詞，則是從原意為『到達』的古法語動詞 avenir的過去分詞衍生而來
，最顯而易懂的例子是〈Avenue des Champs-Elysees〉(香榭大道)。由這條大道一直
上坡，便會『到達』屹立在盡頭的凱旋門，因此最適合用來說明Avenue的構造(意義？)
。換句話說，avenue通常是和歷史紀念建築物搭配的。
「不過，一直到十九世紀出以前，香榭大道還不是一條 Avenue；因為大道盡頭應該『
