buy the cheaper one
Make sure familiar with the setting up. since when you enter the exam room,
most likely, the supervisor will reset the calculator.
it will go back to the stupid "financial " mode.

I have an account on a SunOS server using sparc processor.
THe matrix is with 3000 row x 80000 cols,
I want to calculate A x B, and I think seperate A , B to two or more
sub matrix helps to speed up, since the server has multiple processors.
but how?
I don't have root account, just a normal user.
I tried multi-thread, it did work for 2 threads, but no improvement
for 3, 4... I believe a single process can only use 2 threads since
sparc processor or the system may have 2 CPU or 2 core for each bo

For a molecules, we have a series of vibrtational mode. How to calculate the
transition dipole derivative between excited states and ground staes

where n is an excited vibrational states and 0 is the ground state. \mu is
the dipole

With Gaussian 03, I can produce .fchk file. There is a section Dipole

Assume I have a n*k matrix G where n>k. And I know rank(G) = k. According to
matrix theory G'G has full-rank and its inverse can be calculated. However
when I plug in the data to a numerical software, the software actually
complained that G'G is singular. For my problem, k is between 100 ~ 1000,
and
n is between 500 and 5000.
I manually wrote a C++ Gauss Elimination algorithm to verify that G'G has
rank
of k. But I notice that the Gauss Elimination algorithm would report the

我用的Cadence 5.10,但我想我问的问题应该试用于各个版本
我已经用cadence做好了仿真,现在想把一条具体的电压曲线的仿真数据export出来,
然后用matlab画图。
因为curve的数据量很大,含有很多points。如果我用传统的方法,就是点calculator
上的“tabular results display”(如果是cadence IC4.46,就是点“printvs”),
然后会生成一个table,然后再把table里的数据save as成csv。但因为数据点太多,
load到table里的时候要花太多的时间。
有没有办法能在ICW window直接输入一个command,指定待导出node名和目标文件名,
直接生成一个csv或txt file。我记得是可以的,但忘记具体格式了

If it is amorphous polymer matrix, things will be very difficult.
Typically, unless you have a nice model, it is very difficult to obtain
a quantitative result.
I am not sure why you want to use SAXS to characterize your system.
I hope you still have some characteristic feature in your results which can be
linked
to the problem you want solve.
As far as I konw, unless you have already known the detail structure of
an amorphous system, it is almost impossible to quatitatively calculate
the scatte

I remembered that SiO2- amorphous polymer composites were well investigated
by SAXS or SANS in literature. What they need to calculate SLDs of polymers
are density and formula.
Most of classic models can deal with shapes including spheres (3D), plates
(2D)
and rods (1 D). 2.X D object is descriped as between shpere and plate. And
so on. SEM, TEM are always used to confirm the final shape.

good at it. However, it also depends on the sample you use.
Again, for dilute conditions, the form factor of a particle can be very
accuratly caculated.

Yes.
I am working on NMR and we find the model of Nafion is somewhat
not in detail enough. And we think the clusters in Nafion is somewhat
not in spherical. So, we want to find a computation method to calculate
the SAXS profile and compare with the experimental SAXS data.
Now what I am looking for is to generate some geometry model, say cylinders
ditributed in space, and computate the profile.
I do not want to generate the atomic level accuracy.

where 0< a <1
I solved it in a general Laplace transform manner.
Perform Laplace transforms on both sides:
L[\int_0^z\phi(t)]
= 1/w L[\phi(t)]
L[ \int_0^z f(x)(z-x)^{a-1} dx ] (convolution)
= L[ x^{a-1} ] L[ f(x) ]
= w^{-a}\Gamma
