the skyline trail, it doesn't consider C2C, more like C2T, unless I'm wrong
, as I could always.
You can always try to do Mt Wilson twice in a day, if you just want the
elevation gain, or maybe 3 x in a day if you want to break a record! :) |

回到C2C是因为一位朋友。朋友曾答应带我们走有雪的C2C，现在他爽约了，我们还是决
定回到那里。这一年由于经验能力心理准备种种缘故，迟迟没有行动，直到最近，才终
于觉得我们可以上去了。
这将是一场艰苦的跋涉。如果没有99.9%的把握，我们不会冒险，更别说带人了。单看
路途海拔，12迈上升到8500尺，似乎也还可以，可这是一条没有水，人迹稀少，没有
ranger维护的trail,在八千尺的爬升中，总会有种种意外。山高路远，赤日炎炎，毒蛇
猛兽，冰雪挡路，你永远难以预料会出现何种未知的危险。
几个月前，一个C2C老鸟为最后的两迈奋战了七个小时，他说，永远不要以为自己对这
条TRAIL有多熟悉，即使你已经走过N遍，一场新雪就会把它变得面目全非。又听说不久 |

说起来很可笑，选择秘鲁是因为这是我们用里程能换到的最远的地方。稍微做了点功课
才明白，原来秘鲁的旅游资源非常丰富，有山有海有热带雨林有古迹，我自己地理历史
太差劲以前没想到而已。
这么多可玩的东西，又不能像美国年轻人一样在南美做几个月的背包客，怎么安排呢？
大概翻了几本书，除了印加古道，最打动我的就是热带雨林了。尤其是看到因为巴西旅
游业的过度开发，目前亚马逊流域生态保护最好的就是上游处于秘鲁境内的Manu国家公
园，毫不犹豫就选择了它。
生态保护的好自然是因为它历史上就交通不便，目前游客也只能跟随指定机构进入。尤
其是想要深入腹地就只有Manu Lodge，别无它选。好处是比较起来比较容
易，就是选择时间长短。坏处是日期完全由他说了算，而且印加古道也必须随团，把这

周六去书店拿了一本《Cloud Atlas》。好在周末天气不错，在公园里面，孩子们玩，
我就在旁边读书。看了六分之一，谈谈感觉，没有剧透。
第一章，是Adam Ewing的日记，没头没尾，从半截开始，应该是从悉尼出发，到夏威夷
的一段航程。从语言上看，有一点点Melville的感觉，南太平洋岛屿上的离奇故事。我
是特别喜欢帆船时代得航海故事的，从Patrick O’Brien的二十本Aubrey-Maturin小说
以后，又把Melville的航海故事又都复习了一遍。
很喜欢作者对于语言的应用，特别有时代特色，拼写方式有些古气，用词造句非常十九
世纪，对于喜欢Melville的人来说应该是非常亲切的。航海术语运用比较得当，特别是
当看见“I shall look in after the last dog.”这样的句子的时候。
日记在句子中间嘎然而止。然后，是下一个故事，一个从Zedelghem写的书信集，刚刚
看到这个书信集里面refer到Adam Ewing的日记残片的部分，我的地铁到站了…

样softw engineer了。不奇怪，也没办法。修个电脑最好1W美金起，到时候我们一天接

其他的几个我不了解，现在最“火”的cloud computing和技术创新基本没什么关系吧
？完全是一个business strategy和marketing的手段。貌似我研究了很久，到现在究竟

办法保证性能，在底层接口不保证一致性的情况下连正确性都没有办法保证。
cloud对中小型应用很不错就是大部分这种东西需要的同步少，模块少，分
到cloud的节点上相对简单。 |

是针对的应用不一样，设计有很大差别，还有结合了virtualization, software/
platform/infrastructure as a service等等的概念和技术。
"初期费用低”可以理解为cloud提供了一些解决scalability的hardware和software
layers, 只要在这上面开发自己的程序就可以了，这样还是费用还是能够降低的。如
果是小型应用，应该降低不了多少初期费用。
还有维护一个大型系统费用还是很高的，这点不仅仅是“整点STORAGE，装装SP，整两
人看着有没有流量异常...”。 |
