我昨天天还来问的买哪款车。。昨天晚上我真没想到就取车回家了。。。这是本人的第
一辆新车。。可谓是无脑买车。。。。
分享下经历:
我在truecar上做了个certificate on CRV-LX-AWD。 然后又5,6个dealership联系我,
然后我就问了OTD price。做了几家然后我选了一个最低的CRV EX 2WD的报价是$23767
(SALE price, including tint window,including destination fee $835)。
然后我就突然想到costco好像有auto program,就打了个电话给他们想进去看看。
costco auto program其实还是和honda dealership合在一起的。具体是什么福利我也
没搞清楚。。感觉也就是match price之类的吧(电话中他让我带上报价最低的。。)
进店后他果然给我match那个价。。。。因为我想有时候放一些大的东西 我加了一个
truck tray mat, roof bar&roof cross bar一共$1200。OTD $26500左右。

现在回头总结经验,我觉得不要问有没有add on,直接问OTD是多少。
我是一律email联系,不管对方说什么,一定要问OTD。不管对方怎么腾挪。
最后敲定的时候,除非之前对方的email里写得非常明确,不然一定写一封email做

1. You offer me an OTD of $xxxxx for a 2016 Civic LX+sensing
2. I will pay in cash (or whatever you discussed)
Is my understanding correct? If it is the case, I will visit your dealership

如果真心要做这笔生意,不会在意多回一句。之前想用各种花招蒙人的,到这时候就
会露出马脚:1.有继续扯“We have best price guarantee”的 2. 有可能想用Civic
蒙我的(后来发现他谈价钱的时候另换email thread, 他自己的email里只提Civic)

大家好,最近打算买个新车,目前正在2017 Camry LE and 2017 Accord LX之间考虑。
坐标湾区。在网上联系了几个dealerships,根据论坛里面的经验贴,先让他们直接互
相beat price。昨天去了几个dealerships,试了车,谈了谈价格。结果发现这些
Salesman把价格咬的都很死,只能按照email里面的价格走,减100块都很难。直接用了
walk away。暂时没人打电话联系,也没收到email。现在两个dealership给的Camry LE
OTD price都是20300,Accord LX不带sensing的可以做到21300 (包括税和其它
document fee啥的 税率大概9%)。不知道是否还有砍价的空间?

就拿现有walmart carsaver构想来说
Then CarSaver will connect customers with an AutoNation dealership or other
local dealership, where buyers can complete the purchasing paperwork and
drive away in a new car. If a car deal is successful, CarSaver will pay the
dealership a “success fee” of approximately $350.
walmart不但介绍客人给车行,还给车行350好处费,但是其他一切环节还是在车行完成
,毫无差异。
您觉得车行会因此裁员??

之前有在版上发过求助帖,大概事情呢,就是因为一次小事故,bodyshop的人发现我的
车有被paint过,但是我是新买才一年,之后跟dealer扯皮了半天。 故事分享出来,一
来吐槽下,二来也给其他买新车的提个醒吧。
大概一两年前在西雅图的MB dealer买的车,大概快6万刀吧,一年后出了起小的车祸,
拿去body shop修时却被告知我的车的hood明显被重新喷漆过,而且是very low
quality, painting一般有好几层,最后几道工序基本就是没做。Bodyshop的人说,很
有可能是shipping途中出的问题,应该只是小的scratch,碎石什么,但是很诧异为什
么没有被好好修就卖到了顾客手上。 但是,如果不是行业人士,不经指点,确实很难
看出来,外行人一般看就是颜色,没有明显的刮痕就OK了,但事实上经过指点,仔细看
,很明显很多地方漆都没喷好,各种痕迹都有,还有一些残留的渣滓,碎料在一些边边
角角那。
于是我就去dealer去问,他们首先承认这个painting job was done poorly。 大概快1

Honda CRV 2010 problem list: 85,000 replaced catalytic converter, 5 times
under normal maintenance had to replace 4 quarts of oil, replaced timing
cover, replaced a/c compressor, call Honda and all I got was "please call
your dealership". Every single issue I had has a safety notice attached to
it so obviously Honda realized it was a problem. Please stand by your cars.

做dealer B的前提是其他的dealership愿意给客人offer. 问题是这么做dealer作为一
个行业整体都会少挣钱的. dealer之间互相beat,对dealer一点好处都没有. 还不如大
家都不在email里给价格,让买车的去dealer那里当面谈,是否能谈成就看dealer自己
的本事了.
我之前买车,也是email里面dealer不愿意给价格,打电话也不给,就让当面谈. 去第
一个dealer那里,给了一个offer, dealer连counter都不愿意给,我知道我offer的价
格是低了一些,但我觉得也算是reasonable, 毕竟是第一个offer. 后来又去了另外一
家dealer, 给了同样的offer, 第二家dealer就给了best and final. 我当时没再想去
找其他的dealer beat, 然后车就买了. 多少年才买一辆车,为了省那3,500美元,跑
10家,8家的dealer...
我们这里的dealership都说bring me an offer, and i will beat it by $500. 可我

两天前车子停在停车场上被一辆truck撞到后面,严重变形,估价5000$左右的损失。
幸亏有目击证人,肇事司机A留下了保险公司信息,说他刚买了那辆卡车还给我他两周
前在一家dealership买车的收据.第二天我给他的保险公司打电话,保险公司纪录后就
给A打电话求证,A 撒谎说他开的是dealer的车,是test drive。我就给保险公司看A给
我的买车收据(没有签名),保险公司说如果dealership能给他们一个written signed
copy of the sale receipt,他们就可以给我赔偿。我找dealership要这个证明,
dealer 说依法他们不能泄漏顾客信息,不能给我和保险公司这个证明。 所以现在是死
循环了,如何是好呢?难道要去small claim court告么?

RAV4 XLE
Automatic transmission 52 miles
I just bought a new 2017 Rav4 XLE with about 52 miles and the steering is
pulling to the right. The next day after delivery, I took it to the
dealership and they rotated the tires. It was still pulling to the right so
I had to go back to dealership and they did an alignment. They told me to
they noticed the toe was off. The steering wheel is still going towards the

Bought 2014 Toyota Camry SE brand new. At about 8,000 miles AC began to
smell like mold and mildew. Dealership suggested charcoal air filter to fix
issue. I got it and it worked for about 1,000 miles and smell was back. Car

小鸡佬在本版是过街老鼠,笨舔的高级黑,这个就不用说了。有几件事新来的版友可以
了解一下,就大概窥一斑而知全豹了:)
1. 此君之前因为人肉别人,结果被反人肉出来,在中西部一个笨舔dealership干临时
工打杂。而且曾经在移民版问过人在美国以后如果想走亲属移民应该怎么操作的问题,
那明显就是偷渡过来的没跑了,后来可能他自觉失言,就把帖子删了,不过还是很多人
看到了,老版友应该都有印象。其实也make sense,看这厮发帖的发帖内容,以及谈吐
水平,大概也就可以确定确实是偷渡客了:)
2. 其所在dealership的信息,被版友贴出来过几次,因为涉嫌违反版规,这次我就不
贴了。关键信息就是,该dealership是那个州为数不多的几个Google review只有一星
的黑店,小鸡佬被很多版友戏称为“拍桌小二”也是有典故的。该小二某天在接待顾客
的时候,因为玩弄dealer最低级的价格骗术,被该顾客识破了,于是就恼羞成怒拍桌子
大喊让顾客滚蛋,说这是private property,不欢迎你们。这事被顾客拍了下来,并发

you want just email to all the toyota dealership around the bay area and
asking for them for their best offer and you will see emails start pouring
in! create a new email address for this or your email will be flooded with
dealership email in the future. I bought two cars using this way!
also you can try cartelligent, about 500 per car purchase but I heard they
can get very good prices for you.

关键看怎么谈。这车如果上到limited trim, 最低也得6000 off,否则还不如再添一万
买ML350。最基本的一点,不能去了dealer哪那再谈价,而是在家谈好再去dealer那做
手续。

在他们网上填写你的要求,就会有附近的dealer给你发电邮报价。You can use one
dealer's quote to beat the other dealer or at least ask them to match it. If
you get a quote with your desired price in mind, make sure to print out the
quote and bring it with you to the dealership to haggle.

没错,遇到自动加速,第一时间踩到底然后换p档,如果是停止状态,p档会有个卡笋卡
住就能停下来
但是大多数人不知道,连着踩几脚没停下来,想要继续却因为刹车过热刹车效率下降停
不下来
像这种一跑一个多小时的最后还是有机会挽回的
但是如果在本地路上,没有空间的话只能自求多福了
不过丰田每个车型还真有brake failure的投诉,就是一脚踩到底完全无效
好不容易路边停下拖到dealer查不出任何问题,结果就是遇到第二次,第三次,总有一
次要出车祸

主要是在美国的经销网络搭建耗资巨大。如果不是这个因素,中国家用车在美国肯定能
卖不错,便宜多了。
不过我估计中国厂商一定会在家用车方面进军美国的。我觉得可能会采取搭伙的模式,
降低dealership成本。比如,几个中国公司合伙,A公司专门卖suv,b公司专门卖sedan
,等等。然后share一个dealership。

今天搞定了车子,2008 Honda CRV LX 4WD, OTD 22550. 算是invoice吧
前后花了两星期和dealer周旋,主要是发邮件。一共收到了5个offer。其中一个大
dealer反而开了一个最高价,其他的都比较接近。我打了电话去这个大dealer要他们
match,得到的答复就是你来啊我们可以beat any price.总之听起来比较虚,就是一个
劲想先拉你到dealership.
还有一个比较近一点的小dealer,给了一个invoice+400的价,我回了一个invoice价,
至今未回信,看来是嫌利润低不要做生意。
剩下的几个都差不多是invoice,大概差个几十一百
今天有空,直接杀到了报价最低的dealership。sales没想到我来,有点儿措手不及。
直接show邮件,看车,试车,拿paperwork,走人。过程总体还算顺利。
感觉今天的sales虽然不是特别热情,但是很踏实,没有什么trick,没有说太多的话,
叫manager之类。

前言
这个帖子的内容比较唐僧,乱七八糟的和我买车有关的都往里倒,没什么特别的目的,只是希望今后买新车的朋友能买到一个好价钱。所以,看客如果是悟空类型的,拜托不要拍大砖。
我在帖子里提到的现象基本上都是我亲身经历,主要是针对Toyota和Honda。当然,有些朋友买车或许很顺利,压根就没碰到过任何麻烦,有的或许比我的经历更复杂。另外,我在文中所提到的经历,主要是against dealership, sales manager, salesman, financial consultant, etc. 但都不代表绝对现象,我相信你完全有可能遇到一些特例,当然,我指的是对你有利的特例。
这个帖子没有怎么涉及trade in的内容,如果你想trade in买车的话,建议查查其他帖子,坛子里我知道至少mavrick最近和dealership打过交道,应该有些经验和不错的看法,而且他也很热心,可以和他聊聊。

圈后回到dealership, 他说我可以单独开出去,试完了后在下午关门前开回来就可以了。
调了一下座椅,车里内饰比较简洁,做工挺细致,八万多的车,没看到什么豪华的功能

Car dealerships have nothing to do with you registering your car at the DMV.
I don't have a way to calculate your registration. If another dealership
is telling you that they are including the cost of you registering your car
at the DMV (getting your license plates) they are lying. Our out the door
price includes everything we are responsible for. If I need to explain any
more please call me as it may be easier to explain that way.

4. 在讨价还价中,email quote, 电话以及dealership的visit 缺一不可。货比三家
之后基本上可以知道dealer的底价。

Yes, you can do it this way. In my opinion, this is a very efficient way
of
buying a car.
But, don't tell them your bottom line, unless you know for sure that your
bottom line will get you a great deal. Normally, one could just send e-
mails
to several dealerships and ask for quotes. Then find the lowest quote and
see if the other dealerships are willing to beat it.

我是五月底买的车,总算得闲将心得与大家分享。
第一辆车是美国车,3800刀,开了六年,四月底被两家修车铺宣告发动机要换,决定换
车。上网查资料,衡量买新车还是买二手车,买日本车还是买德国车,买honda还是买
toyota。
在认真阅读了车轮上的传奇版精华区所有读物,我个人感觉”唐僧版系列“很有帮助。
决定五月底称过节买corrola。 我找到一个很nice的朋友陪我买车。 这个相当重要。
此人要很耐烦,能陪时间进去。有可能是一整天。此人可以不说一句话,但不要在你砍
价时说,好了,可以了,回去吧,催着你走。一句话,要一条战线。
我用了周六周日两整天,看了6家dealership. 最后买到中意的车,颜色,合适的价钱
。买车前几天在网上发邮件问价钱,dealership几乎都不愿意在网上协商价钱,都要我
去车铺砍价。在网上查到同区域最近几个月的同类车的价钱后,周六早上我就带着这张
单子,吃饱喝足去买车了。
基本上saleman不重要,主要是和maneger谈。不要和saleman浪费精力。说明要的车和
能付的钱。能谈拢就谈,不行就握手走人,要有这个信心(认真做价钱的research很重
