由于正门都对着大路，所以在设计住宅时，为了保护隐私，就把人们主要活动的区域都
放在了后面，像Family Room,Kitchen和Dinning Room. 老中对Dinning Room 不太重视
，利用率不高，只有开Party时才用，有的干脆变成了孩子们学习的地方，也许老美用
的多吧，要不怎么设计房子时那么重视。
房子的前院是给别人看的，在整理上一般都是走走过场，只要过得去，也就是了。后院
是给自己看的，好看的花大都栽在那儿，有的人喜欢种些菜，所以房子的取向对这些还
是有些影响的。
前院一般没什么风景，除了马路，就是马路对面的房子，大部分内容都集中在房子的后
院，山，河，树林等自然风景都在后院。
除了冬天人们喜欢阳光照进屋内，给人温暖外，别的季节并不需要太多的阳光进入。夏
天进入屋里太多的阳光反而是负担，它对木质和皮革家俱都有伤害，且增加室内温度。
屋内的明亮度主要取决于窗户的大小和窗前是否有障碍物等，当然要是有阳光射进来会
更亮堂些。
坐南朝北房子的优点上回已经讲过了，就不说了。还有就是后院在南，阳光充足，对种

包括了那个dinning rom和living room所以一共是5个.
他把那个dinning rom改装了，加了个门，跟隔壁的share 一个closet，然后有窗户，
但是实木地板，其他的bedroom都是地毯。我们问了对方的agent他说这是bedroom。
disclose信息的时候也没有disclose public record，我们自己查出来的后来。
对于这种情况，最坏的结果是什么，如果对方告我们？ 3% 要不回来了？因为我们也不
是无理取闹，他说四个房间，可是法律文件说三个。我们也试试受害一方。 |

1. 发现只有一个房间没有电，所有的插头都试验过没有电。(去查过电闸，老房子，那
一个电闸连了dinning room和那个房间，dinning room是有电的，那个房间没有)
2. 晚上全部灯关掉，走廊里的一个灯一直闪。（已经关掉的情况下闪，开灯的时候正
常亮）
这2个都是哪个地方的问题？要怎么修？
当时买房买了home warrenty，这些问题warrenty管修吗？

回来的这两天忙到死，终于腾出点时间谢谢这次旅游的感受。自从怀孕以后，到目前娃
两岁9个月，三年多的时间都没出门，快要憋死了！
除夕早上6点出发，从温哥华开车到西雅图机场，网上找了一家叫extra parking的停车
场。他家不是最便宜的，网上提前定是7.95/day， 但是trip advisor上评价很好，
shuttle bus很快，几年前去夏威夷也是从西雅图飞，也停在这家，所以这次还是找的
这家，很满意。网上有4.95一天的，但是好像评价很不好，没敢用。
飞机从西雅图飞long beach，BlueJet,机票很便宜，好像往返才100多，具体记不清了
。BlueJet还算可以吧，饮料零食都是免费，expedia上定的。
租车用的Avis，他家比较灵活，同一个城市租车点比较多，还车方便就近。因为我是

争很激烈，有些店的chef为了节省成本拼业绩，偷工减料不按recipe，做出来的东西可
能就不好吃了。公司有四大chef，没事就去好馆子，然后研究新菜。panda还有panda
inn是fine dinning，只在南加有。recipe里面有李锦鸡蚝油，李锦鸡是他们的partner。
老板是早年跟父亲移民的华人，老爸跟人合伙开中餐馆，散伙时候分两派。他ee
master毕业回家开餐馆，好多人不服他另起炉灶。老板娘是computer science phd在
cistco还是哪儿干过，回家帮他。然后他们从fine dinning开始转站快餐业，现在有
1000多家店。开到200家店的时候，另一伙人才只有几家店而以，所以好多人又回来给
他卖命了。

1，订报纸的link没找到，哪位知道，给个link吧? 前年延长过我自己的ua账号，知道
要7百多mile，不知道改了没。明年夏天还要延长老妈的2万miles.
2,搞那个dinning programm或my points，现在弄，大概需要多久能post出来？我爸的
就剩2个月了。

了 Denver Downtown的一家餐馆~ 在 16th & Arapahoe 交界的地方， 餐馆的名字叫
Palomino。 虽然在downtown也转过几次， 居然都没有来过这个附近， 有步行街的地
方， 感觉环境很不错~ 旁边还有一家Palm， 看起来也不错的餐馆， 人蛮多的。
Palomino感觉有点Olive Garden的意思， 但是东西稍微可能更fine dinning一点。 前
边是bar， 走到后边是dinning。 我们点了一个Seafood menu上的dish， 实在不知道
怎么写它的名字， 但是里边有Sea Bass, Clam, shrimp, mussels等等， 味道很好，
我很喜欢， 只是根据它的价格 ($26)， 数量有点偏少。 :(
另外点了一个Lobster口味的Bolognese, 就是圆筒形的那个pasta， 味道也很好， 不
是很heavy那种， 但是稍微硬了一点点。 如果没有这个pasta， 上边那个seafood的
菜可能比较难吃饱 :P

而且floor plan很怪，进门就是个面积不小的门厅，门还在正中间，门厅基本是没法用
的。dinning area过大，living area很局促，以后生活的主要地方是living room，这
个很亏。最奇葩的是从大门到living area要先经过dinning area，非常有特点。卧室
倒是不小，采光比living room好，不过面积一样的条件小，一般人都喜欢小卧室大客
厅，客厅里比卧室亮。
估计有效使用面积还要减去300尺，LZ的眼光有些与众不同。 |

优美，邻里关系十分和睦。交通十分便利，1分钟上高速680，5分钟上101，880，离各
大公司很近（Ebay, Cisco, Apple, Nvidia等），到google没堵车的话20分钟。小区基
本都是各大公司工程师。购物也很方便，开车3分钟到safeway, CVS (24hr), 5分钟到
Target, Ranch 99, Costco, 附近有多个plaza各种餐厅，健身房，游泳池。
房屋情况：2014年新建的3层townhouse, 4b/4b, 房屋内有洗衣机，烘干机，有2个车位
的车库，离小区的停车场也很近，停车非常方便。现在四个房间（A, B, C, D) 都出租
，大家可以任选, 9月25号可入住。
