非你坐那种VIP位置，或者演出前有正式dinner，一般都是特别正式的老头子才会穿的。
女士cocktail dress enough,最保险的就是little black dress加上非常闪眼的首饰，不需要
long night gown,除非演出特别要求，或者VIP。

穿的礼服裙，有时候好惊艳，一件裙子记很久。美国人非常会做裙子，就那么裹在身上
的一件，能做出千百种样子来。我也最喜欢买裙子。不一定要贵，几十刀的裙子也可以
很好看，不过我一般会看一眼牌子。普通的CK就可以了。它的样子似乎也会跟着high

wang的裙子，还没我穿的vitange store 淘来的10几刀的好看呢。不过有时候发现我的

我适合穿dress,不过dress大概是最提人的吧，一件好裙子make a big difrenence. 最

总的原则是，比你的中国同事穿的相对正式一点比穿的随便要好，但不要
比晚会的host/hostess, 例如你们的CEO/Dean/President穿的还正式，尤其
你只是一个普通的engineer的话。
下面这个list是随便总结的，不求全面靠谱，有不同意见的同学请自己保留。
欧洲大陆/英国/北美/工业界/学术界习惯迥异，叫法不同；就学术界本身而言，
学科之间也没有统一的标准；商学院老师说话用powerpoint, 饼图+直方图是
生命线，到数学系老头那里，不直接在幻灯片上推公式你就不敢叫自己是大牛。
言归正传：
1） Active attire，
这个是运动装，短裤，拖鞋，T恤，网球鞋，游泳衣，游泳裤，都属于这一类。
working professionals 在工作时间不适合穿这个，因为“工作场合不能露毛
（胸毛, 腿毛, 鼻毛）”是一个原则。
2） Casual 或者 Saturday Casual,
这种说法意味着可以随便穿，牛仔裤和T恤是最典型的代表， 但是短裤、凉鞋

below
white shirt, dark suit, traditional tie, and wing tip shoes.
I feel it's too formal and am wondering if I can skip suit, instead just
wearing a sport coat and a pair of nice dressing pant. Of course I'll wear
white shirt and dressing shoe.
The people I'm going to meet include VP, manager and director of Actuarial
Service, and some peers.

好还是租好。
不过想想，这问题是挺纠结的。
每个女生心中都有个新娘梦，也对自己的wedding dress有过幻想，要是能拥有一件
Rosa Clara或者是Vera Wang的wedding dress该有多好。
转念一想，买了有什么用呢？穿了一次之后就压箱底，这辈子也不会再拿出来，倒不是
没机会穿，anniversary什么的想穿还是可以的，但关键是身材保持不了啊，通常婚后3
个月就别再想穿上当初的婚纱了吧。所以花了大价钱穿这么一次，好像太浪费了一点。
但要是用租的，想想又不甘心，一辈子一次的婚礼，还要穿说不定别人穿过的，实在有
点膈应。
版里的过来人们，你们的wedding dress都是买的还是租的啊？ |

regularly $38 - pink and blue with smocking and a pink, orange, lime green,

关于4月10号的庆典活动穿着要求，请原谅我们未能事先讲得太清楚，一些校友提出疑
问，在此统一稍作解释：
因为这是一次社交晚宴，包括晚宴前的鸡尾酒会(通俗地说就是手上拿杯饮料相互找认
识的或不认识的寒喧聊天)。这种社交场合的约定俗成就是穿着要正式，通常就是男西
服、女晚服。但这并不是校友会的要求，也不是Hyatt的要求，这是社交礼仪的基本要
求。如何才算穿得正式、得体，大家不妨自己google一下。我们给出的参考意见是：
对男士们，严肃点的，黑色深色全套(西服西裤领带)；轻松点的，浅色或白色全套；随
