Purchases:
- Shower tray / receptor: you can get a cheap one for 200 or a high end cast
iron one for 500. we went for a 60X36 Kholer acrylic one at $350. shipping
was additional 50 as the size could not be found at local stores.
- Show glass door: depending on size, the frameless ones will cost you any
where from 400 to 600. our 60 inch dreamline door cost 500
- show faucet: we spent roughly 230 on this.

frozen to see whether you can unblock it.
This is a very clear sign that the wall insulation somewhere along this
particular pipe is very bad. You need to find it out and fixed it as soon as
possible. Before that, you might need to open that faucet a little bit when
it is very cold again to avoid such a problem. |

will require a value for each faucet, but some area do not.
It should be ok to leave the water heater on (unless you plan to drain the
water heater completely). But if you want to be extra careful, you can just
turn it off it is electric or turn to pilot if gas.

Shut off water to your house, use a hex to take off the handle, you will see
a big hex nut. take that off.
If it is a ceremic cartridge system, replace the whole cartrige ( you might
want order that ahead of time). If it use a rubber washer, you can just
replace it.
Call the faucet maker first, they will tell you what part you need to fix it.
Or get on their website.
If you can post the make and model number, I can also help you look that up. |

clip被plaster ground（照片中白色塑料物体）挡住，取不下来。有大侠遇到过同样情
况吗？比较直接的想法就是锯掉一小块塑料，但用什么工具，是否可行，不太有把握。

Make sure you set the depth to just enough to make the cut.

Some are only quarter turn.
If that does not help, you might need a new faucet.

If you can remove the aerator, do it and try to clean it.
But if is 很烂的牌子, I suggest you get a new moen or delta.

Kohler have the best customer service I have known, any time you call during
the day (business hours), a lady (real person) will answer the phone, you
can not even dial an extension without going through a real person first,

Delta is owned by masco, if you need to buy a masco faucet, hansgrohe is a
much better made product. (this is not the same as grohe brand, which is a
private company founded by Hans Grohe's son Friedrich and not part of masco) |

This valve blends hot water with cold water to ensure constant, safe outlet
temperatures preventing scalding.
Many TMVs use a wax thermostat for regulation. They also shut-off rapidly in
the event of a hot or cold supply failure to prevent scalding or thermal
shock.
If your TMV is bad, your hot water will never get hot enough. |

可是后来水龙头坏了，房东换来一个，也是55/64的水龙头，无论如何就拧不上滤水器了
各种adapter也拧不上去
这是为什么？水龙头size除了口径还有螺纹宽之类的参数么？

fixtures, window coverings, faucets and the whole kitchen (including
cabinets, sink and all appliances).
So there will be a problem to get a loan for a house without kitchen. The
solution could be cash offer or using FHA 203K loan. The latter is the
only choice for me. Anybody has experiences on this 203K loan? Will it be
too much hassle and much higher cost? The lender said $35000 203K loan is
required.

temp but can not control the volume, some can control both temp and volume)
, 2 handle, 3 handle and some have seperate knob for volume and temp control
(you can set the temp you want, you only need to adjust the volume)

most pressure balanced can only 自动减少 somewhat.

那个直接拧在水龙头下的接头（塑料一端）
每次总是觉得拧到头了然后忽然就跳松了
里面已经加入了随包装带的adapter+washer，还是无法拧紧
好像滑扣了一样
换了一个也还是一样
勉强打开水，也是一两秒钟就喷出来了
然后接头整个就掉下来了
太郁闷了
看来明天只能去换个pitcher了
大家有谁安装时也遇到这样的情况吗？ |
