injured my foot, possily the tendon, when playing tennis, and the most
terrible thing was that I underestimated the injury. Always trying to come
back when I felt slightly better, and ended up with the injury again. I
know the frustration for a runner is that you always wanted to run but

a bad landing.
This one is not fully captured but you can see my arms were not in front
when I was in air. I feel that I may try to lean my body forward by pulling
my arms in. It does not look right though.

There does not exist a racket that has both power and control.
APD is more powerful than Radical, as it has wider beam, is 16x19,
is 100 sq in, and is stiffer. Because of that, it has lower control.
That's why you have to use semi-western/western grip.

some tennis with my tennis buddies. Played a few doubles games.
God it feels good. I was able to hit some serve, some FH. Mostly, I still
have the volley. Love it!!! I am alive !!!
Going to see my surgeon tomorrow for a follow up w/ X ray. Hope she will
grant me the privilege to play tennis to some degree. |

one can feel the wrist layback at contact position (in the front). Here is
an pretty old video of Justin Henin doing mini tennis. At the very beginning
, notice her laying back wrist right away with minimum take back (especially
at 0:25, where she hold the wrist lay back position to wait for the ball).
I need to try it sometime. Even for ATP style forehander, laying wrist back

the "burnout" fun was pretty good. the car models are like plastic in
previous versions.
this one has a hell lot more of detail for everything, even the "burnout"
part has more effects... fire effects, etc...
but it was much easier to crash in previous version, I almost have to
avoid any cllosion with opponents or they just continue to drive when I
crash.. very unfair. now it's easy and you have to make them crash to get

know.
Haebler and Uchida are fine. Haebler's sound is really great, very crispy,
tempo is not that good, but still OK. I just got one piece of Uchida, not
good, not bad either, plus I heard so many bad things about her playing, I
give her up. I do think, Haebler is at least slightly better than Uchida.
I got a complete Gieseking playing Mozart solo works, not just sonatas, 8 CDS

从今天开始到万圣节，是为期一周的Magic Week，各地的魔术师举行各种魔术表演，既
是为了庆祝鬼神精灵的节日，又是纪念世界著名魔术大师胡迪尼(Harry Houdini)，他
正好在1926年的万圣节那天去世。以前看过介绍胡迪尼的书，说他有好几项吉尼斯纪录
，尤其擅长死里逃生术，从重重镣铐、绳索、水底下挣脱而出，神奇无比。据说秘诀是
他能使自己的双肩脱臼。我想想都不寒而栗。大师就是大师，去世都挑了个隆重喜庆、
大家都来狂欢庆祝的日子，大师在天之灵必然欣慰。
我们今天在图书馆看了一个多小时的魔术表演，看得如醉如痴。先是一个颤巍巍的老头
表演，都能听到他走路时的喘气声，但他就是神奇，小孩们看得十分欢呼雀跃，笑声不
断。老头演了半场没力气了，一个年轻小伙子接班。小伙子长得一般，但一开始表演，
顿时眼睛眉毛全都生动起来。 |
