大集会。
往年的10月，早已是凄风苦雨，寒气逼人，素来怕冷的我，虽然爱凑热闹，却耐不住寒
冷，从来都只是隔着车窗看看热闹而已。今年这几天，天气出奇的好，往年都下霜的日
子，现在正午时分却仍似盛夏般灼热。碧空万里，映着明黄色的树叶，直叫人流连于屋
外。
昨天，我第一次加入到October Fest的集会。贪凉，我赶早跑去Downtown，走得急，都
忘了带相机，到现在还在懊恼；可就是这样，我都没找到P车位，只好停在图书馆。
市中心小河的两岸列满了帐篷，鳞次栉比。我却想着，要是这些帐篷是军帐，这么大的
阵仗，该有多少军士呢？我漫步游走在各帐篷里，看到sample就拿了吃，看到好玩的就
抓过来玩，很多手工艺品和土产；还有很多风味独特的小吃。我晃晃悠悠地逛了2个多
小时，做了一条Macaroni Necklace，手拎着一个气球，本想去河对岸逛，但想到图书
馆开门了。本着“维持镇上良好秩序的好镇民”的原则，我乖乖地选择了回家。

要想去看irish fest，他们主要想带孩子去world/ocean of fun。七个人，正好一部
odyssey。车子是新的，两个胖子坐前头了，孩子女眷和偶都在后头，座位正好，挺宽
敞，就是新车里的皮革味偶有点受不了。天公不作美，到kansas时天阴阴的，有零星的
小雨，不大耽误游玩，就是照相很不方便。既来之则安之，check in完了大家就直接去
irish fest。
这个irish fest偶早听美国同事介绍过，是kansas city每年一度的一个很大的event。
那里是不是irish后裔很多？去的时候，正轮到爱尔兰来的goitse乐队在表演，台下挤
得满满当当，鼓掌声口哨声和欢呼声此起彼伏。这个乐队很有名，youtube上有他们的
录像。偶也被他们精彩的演出吸引，站着听了近半个小时。他们的乐器组合很有特点，
小提琴、手风琴、吉他、长笛、还有一种鼓，有点像手鼓，一种四弦或五弦的琴，有点
像冬不拉。偶虽不是音乐人士，但也能勉强闻其声而知其意，他们演奏和演唱的，都是

这是一篇“戏说+八卦+观后感”的文章，笔者主要的目的，是做个纪念。其中更多的是
一些物理八卦，而且笔者一扯这些东西就收不住，然而有关电影中的一些桥段，虽有涉
及，却并不多。请各位看官知悉。
1.这部电影对笔者的特殊意义：跟Interstellar套个近乎：
1.1从师承上，往Interstellar上套个近乎：
本人和太太在美国读天体物理PhD的时候，导师是Washington University 的
Clifford Will教授，而本片的Executive Producer之一的Kip Thorne又是Clifford
Will的博士导师，所以尽管本人在学术上算是相对论界不入流的小人物，但从师承上来
说，算是Kip Thorne的嫡亲徒孙。换句提高Bigger的话说“这是俺师爷出品的电影”。
顺便说一句：前几天有朋友说到生活大爆炸里的Sheldon认不认识Kip Thorne，我

品运输公司召集举办这个Wing Fest，然后一下子就来了3000-5000人参加这个活动，我
大致看了一下，95％是白人，5％是黑人，没有见到亚裔面孔，而且每个人要交5元买门
票才能进。
在一块荒地上用塑料网围出一块长五六十米，宽三十米的地方，几千人挤在里面，就像
用围栏围起来的羊群，相当密集。
要掏5元买门票才能进。排队买票等待进去的人排很长的队，有两个入口两列队，一条
队150米长，另一条队50米长。 这几千人都是开小汽车来的，周围停了几千辆小汽车。
这人气真的是很旺， 我无法理解的旺，这个名叫Renzi的小公司，怎么有这么大的号召
力呢？
