人之初，开始接触英文，是在上海的童年。儿时与小朋友玩耍时，无意中听到了一
些不三不四的英文，当时似懂非懂，跟着胡说，只是鹦鹉学舌而已。文革后上大学攻读
英美文学，毕业后又到美国留学，随着知识的增长，方知儿时接触的所谓英文乃是地道
的“洋泾浜”殖民地英文。
最为长篇大论的，当首推“爱的飞机马铃铛”。那是一种集体游戏，两个小朋友面
对面手拉手举过头，形成一道假想的拱门，其余的小朋友排成队，后面的抱着前面的腰
，首尾相接形成一圈。游戏开始，所有的小朋友便一起合唱：
爱的飞机马铃铛，马铃铛，马铃铛，爱的飞机马铃铛，玫瑰里停。
随着歌声，一串小朋友便鱼贯而入，依次从假想的拱门中钻过去。当唱到“玫瑰里
停”时，假想的拱门便噶然落下，如一道闸门，将彼时正好钻到门下的小朋友锁住。
后来进了大学，听到了久违的曲调和旋律，方知道“爱的飞机马铃铛”原来是“
