Archlinux安装在一个120GB的移动硬盘上，从它启动系统
USB连了一个2TB的硬盘盒
Pogoplug连在一个比较老的Airport Extreme上，可能这个比较限制数据传输速度
Pogoplug上有apache的WebDAV服务
动态的IP但是配合http://freedns.afraid.org/的dyndns
实际上我用的是Starcom来“动态”连到我的顶级域名
WebDAV共享2TB的硬盘
SFTP也是可以的。
文件有从Mac上rsync到WebDAV mounted 2TB硬盘，iOS系统放上去的文件可以sync back
Pogoplug的Archlinux上有一个cron.daily任务，把关键文件的文件夹再rsync到1and1
的虚拟主机。
Archlinux装了laptop-mode-tools可以再外接硬盘idle的时候spin down
恩。其实很麻烦。
网速：
局域网内，使用不加密HTTP WebDAV可以有平均14MB/s左右，虽然是Gigabyte Ethernet
，但
是老的Airport的throughput不是很高。

我的AMD machine好像就是用这个装的。但不是vallina kernel的话以后升级会很麻烦
，每次都要重装或用它的boot device.
用vallina kernel的好处是装上之后即使升级（minor version，not 10.8 -> 10.9）
也可以从app store直接下载。Gigabyte UD3H 是支持vallina的。 |

host a sort of mixed but more DW intensive application. If I turn on LB (
either client side or server side), the performance got hit pretty bad due
to heavy traffic on interconnect (gigabyte switch). I have to disable LB for
for those 10g RACs to pass the performance testing. Now there are both
running well for about 6 month in production without LB. Maybe a bias, but

发帖数: 131 | 25 这个GA-P35-DS3R一直用的很好，最近突然启动变慢，显示Memory Te然后就卡住了。一
般过三五分钟然后继续。overclock的设置都回被复原。在newegg的review里看了一下
，有人说是usb的问题。感觉是在找usb启动盘。把我的smartcard reader拔下来，果然
就好了。faint. 然后到bios里把legacy usb storage去掉，在接上usb设备，基本上不
卡了。（实际上还是有一个很短的卡）。希望下一个firmware能修复这个问题。
总体感觉gigabyte的东西还是不错的，特喜欢它的鼠标/键盘开机。点两下鼠标，或者
敲入一个密码，机器就启动了，免得弯腰去开p180的门然后按button ：-）超频也不错
，不加电压e4400上3G没问题。 |

一到memory那里，还显示不全呢，只是显示“memor”，然后过不去就重启了。。。内存换过了，
没有用。。。
请问是不是只能换主板了呀？

照几位大侠的建议reset了cmos，发现可以启动了。不过几次以后又不行了。。。只好继续clear cmos。每次clear cmos以后，就告诉我“bios checksum error， defaulted loaded”，继续就可以启动了。
这个计算机是半年前攒的，东西都是新的，可能是什么原因呢？ |

1. 没有千兆网。这个streaming video倒不需要，但是现在的NAS没有千兆网惨点。
2. CPU弱了点，NAS够了，但是双核的应该更轻松些，能同时干其他事情。
3. ＳＡＴＡ口只有两个？少了点，以后想加几个硬盘比较局限。

gigabyte的网卡没什么必要。

，INTEL个人推荐E5200+G31，AMD个人推荐4850e+740g，都不是很贵的部件。如果追求
超低能耗和体积小，可以试试ATOM+945GSE的整合板，加picoPSU电源，不过价格也就上
去了。
还有一点就是电源在低能耗运行的情况下效率很低，要注意选择节能电源，比如80+认
证的。

）竟然有43C。如果用stock fan超到3.6，idle 居然有55C。如果full load，大概都要
