Too old for the long track. Just play in the hokey rink is good enough for
me, particularly when you have kid(s) with you. Using hokey skates too but
I could never jump and do the hokey stuff.
I've never tried the short track skates though. I saw on the World Cup they
do not use the detachables anymore, so things always go full circles. |

, and stop.
Another benefit: chicks dig hot dudes on hokey skates playing tricks.
In the States if you use speed stakes, you are gonna have hard time to
really do long laps because of the rink limitations or even short laps in
hokey rink.
Unless you were gay, then go and enjoy figure. I know qmc will say differently. |

。非常有阳刚气（竟然里面混着几个女队员，拿下头盔才知道）。
也不认识玩冰球孩子的中国家长，对发烧老美父母提供的信息又不怎么信，所以问问版
上有经验的父母。
年龄大到什么时候会开始莫认的打架( A trend in ice hokey to attract viewers)?
还是不进职业队就没问题? 这个主要是考虑能玩的时间很短的话就干脆不学了。很多体
育都是常年训练，时间上要安排，得挑能玩到成年的项目优先。目前有个足球，想再弄
个群体的。
折胳膊断腿的机会大不大？
冰鞋一般更换的频率是多长时间？什么时候应该换？孩子说脚痛的时候？
头盔是不是一定要紧绷绷？ 现在是５岁，６岁身高，头型跟身高成比例，不特大或特
小，戴YOUTH JUNNIOR BAUWER HOKEY 头盔，但是戴起来很紧，像箍在头上一样，拿下
来时候脑袋都是水涝涝的，是不是太小？ |

hokey只是玩票，不是pioneer队的，所以才和bacon在一起打的。不过bacon说他个人认
为他的hokey只比小哈宝好一点点。 |

of speed skates from 旧货店. It certainly looked very gay, so I had to use
several tubes of black shue shine to darken it. But when they got wet, they
became so messy.
I could only afford new speed skates when I started working, of course still
with my dad's help. 'Cause at that time a pair of Chinese made hokey skates
cost more than an average worker's monthly income... Oh, my mother land
China!

I'm in the same situation but I still can take some laps in a hokey rink on
hokey blades. But I could not do even two laps in 400m speed skating ring,
such as the one in Salt Lake - "The astest sheet on earth" used for 2002
Olympics.
My speed skates were bought on Ebay for $50.

在上高一和高二前的暑假，我参加了“一九九零学社”赞助的America China Exchange (ACE)夏令营。“一九九零学社”是一个设在旧金山湾区的非营利组织，目的是培育中国人和美国人的友好关系。ACE是江苏省江阴市峭岐实验小学和加州旧金山湾区的一所中学的学生和老师交流的项目，但参与的学生和老师并不局限于学校。该项目的组织者是美籍华人吴南燕女士，这个一年一度的交流项目，也是为了纪念她的父亲——毕业于峭岐小学的香港商人吴文政。
每个暑假，会有15名美国老师和美国中学生到中国教中国老师和三到五年级学生英语。另一方面，美国老师和美国学生向中国老师学中文，到当地人的家里做客，参与文化活动。去的美国学生多少都学过一些中文。

sky. No one care. Imaging a crazy cold city like chicago, it was a joke to
see its hokey team constantly lost to warm area team like LA Kings.
Three years ago, Blackhawks management team began to bring in young player
with potential. After years' hard work without gaining attention, they won
the championship tonight. This is truly amazing and surprising.
This reminds me Chicago white sox of 2005.

It was so cool but:
- it will bend your thin slender blade to "S" shape because speed skates are
so thin and long.
Pros just do not do it because it will:
- damage the sharp edges for cut; and
- the "S" front to back shape will not be good for speed. |

home actually. Will give them a try.
I did not want to get so serious about short track club or race. Too old
for that, but I'd like to skate it in hokey rinks, just to play. That's why
I need the blades to be straight. Also, in the rink after they clean the
ice with a Zamboni they normally announce "reverse rotation" - from counter-
to clockwise (sorry for my mis-orientation before) I guess. So what do I
do then?

I'm a ski guy now but I had similar expereince as yours in Beijing 20+ years
ago minus the formal trianing though, 自己磨刀,打群架,拍婆子,画地为牢, 颐
和园,北海,什刹海,北大,清华. You name it we have done it, oh the good old
days...
I enjoyed speed skating before and hockey after getting to US. I have both
hokey and speed skates here. At Ski Section I posted quite a few times
about skates, speed skating, etc. and then just came here recommended by a
hockey player.

two laps leisurely, done and could not catch my breath. Now I skate hokey
and still with the lowered speed skate style though - quite funky.

要保持黑钻上匀速平稳的下来,最关键的是完成转弯,完成的轨迹因该是S形，最容易犯
的错误是Z形，那就是hokey stop式的转弯， 这样失去了韵律，不美不爽。也很累 |

多滑几次就知道，直线滑降时阻力和速度近似成正比。所以说完全不搓雪也可以靠turn
shape控制速度，需要道宽人少。
再滑几次会发现，short turn的AE即伸展吸收也可以控制速度，而且能从窄，陡，冰，
坑的地方滑下来。缺点是非常消耗大腿力量。
所以实际一般这样，人少道宽用2，人多道窄用3，紧急情况时用1。 |

发帖数: 11737 | 42 从ps1到ps2十几年玩实况，已经习惯了用ps手柄的L1R1控制换人和加速了。我玩fifa也
会把射门键换成方块，把大脚换成圆圈。原因如下：
ps3手柄，方块比圆圈更容易按到，因为握住手柄后右手拇指离方块更近，所以很多游
戏都把按得最多的动作键放在方块上，比如战神和忍龙。射门显然比铲球更常用，而射
门键也可开大脚。所以一般来说更喜欢实况的键位排列，即方块射门。
同理，实况里面L1是换人和吊球，R1是加速，这么安排也是更科学的。因为ps手柄握紧
后，L1和R1比L2/R2离食指更近，所以不管是瞄准打枪还是什么的更常用这两个键位。
有人说，那XO手柄的LT/RT离食指也很近啊，也好按啊。这点我同意。但是问题来了：
用XO的手柄，LT/RT虽然好按，但是L/R麻烦了，因为你要按这两个键，必须把食指抬起
来离开lt/rt, 而不能像ps系手柄那样直接用中指按。所以，如果我用ps3手柄，可以保
持4个手指放在4个键上，而XO手柄我只习惯用两个手指放在下面的lt/rt上面。不过一
般游戏很少常用到这4个键，所以无所谓了，一般玩XO的游戏，L和R偶尔按一下，完全

on right beat, that's not good. altho, true, these 2 figurs are hard in
timing
