盛名的牧师-Joel Osteen的风采。记得很多年前，在LA的健身房的跑步机上偶然听到这
个牧师的布道，当时就为他精彩绝伦的演讲技巧和引人入胜的布道内容所吸引。后来得
知他在休斯顿当牧师，不过也从未想过有一天可以有机会当面聆听。这次搬到休斯顿，
就一直想找机会来听一听Joel的讲道。Lakewood church 其实曾经是休斯顿火箭队的主
场篮球馆的，坐落于休斯顿的市中心。后被该教会收购，斥巨资改造成教堂。据说该教
堂可以容纳16800人，教堂改造完成后，于2005年揭幕时，当时德州州长共和党人Rick
Perry和美国国会众议院领袖民主党人南希.佩洛熙都出席了。
一走入教堂，映入眼帘的便是教堂一角美轮美奂、充满现代气息的大讲台。五彩斑斓的
灯光让人目眩。周围庞大的观众席位设置，让人依稀看出原来篮球馆的样子。置身其中
，很难想象是在准备听一场布道，倒更像是要听一次演唱会。略坐片刻至七点，教堂的
Service便在慷慨激昂、振奋人心的赞美诗中拉开了序幕。说是赞美诗，但他们所唱的

Someone might legitimately raise the question why we are reviewing this book
. After all, the pattern here at 9Marks has been that we review Christian
books.
I suppose we must be branching out now, because Joel Osteen’s Your Best
Life Now is decidedly not one of those. Open the book to any random page,
and you will likely find some mention of God or even a reference to

Joel Sternfeld的American Prospects算是我最喜欢的一本
推荐一下
讲述美国老百姓自己的故事，类似Robert Frank的Americans那种
不过一般人文摄影是拿着小相机凑到人家跟前拍
Joel Sternfeld是用大画幅，离的老远拍，给人一种detached的感觉
画面细节丰富，主体往往不在最明显的地方，需要观者把照片的各个角落扫描一边
我们一般提到“摄影艺术”，总觉得是个很高深很严肃的东西
Joel Sternfeld的照片有很强的幽默感，所以让我觉得非常accessible
完全没有看artsy的偏色暗角照片的摸不着头脑的感觉

I think Joel Osteen's game is trying to improve a person whether he/she is
judged by social standards or biblical standards. What the guy emphasize is

的动情。经典，不老的歌。
不过他们还是离婚了，9年的婚姻以放手结局。他的第二次婚姻也是如此收场。不过洋
