Badminton Academy, and caring for his first son. (Their new-born daughter
will be brought to Korea and cared by RKM's parents.)

or kde. I use kdm to choose xfce kde4 and fluxbox. |

I'm the only user of my linux box. I want to have autologin w/o gdm/kdm or
any other unnecessary stuff. Here is the solution:
- Change boot level to 3:
edit /etc/inittab: id:3:initdefault:
- Autologin w/o X:
edit /etc/event.d/tty1: change the last line to
exec /sbin/mingetty --autologin your-user-name tty1
- Auto start X:
edit your .bash_profile and add a line at the end

apt-get install ibus-gtk
apt-get install ibus-gtk2
apt-get install ibus-qt4
也用im-switch改了ibus-kde
有些机器可以，可是还有一台不行。没有图标，也没有字选择条。
甚至试了kdm，和安装了xscreensaver，这些是迷信活动hehe
还是不行。
ibus还是有bug啊。 |

我的所有ubuntu,kubuntu机子都有这个问题
一开始以为是mdm的问题，后来发现kdm一样是这个问题

但我知道有的widget style会导致这个问题，你可以尝试换回标准的Oxygen, 一般难看
的style兼容性好也更稳定 LoL
系统hang以后，你能进入terminal看什么process在占用cpu么？
重启后最好看看 kdm log和X log, 看看有没有error出现 |

KDE 3.1, FreeBSD. I'm using KDM. It seems that it does not execute ~/.xinitrc
when I login (nor .xsession) although the file is there and has x mod.
Is there anyway out other than changing the startup script? Thanks. |

trace KDM config files, until reaching your WM. you will find ways to
make .xinitrc executed. |

一作Mamta V Tahiliani不是postdoc，而是PhD学生，导师就是Rao。另外她跟shi
yujiang有合作，做某个KDM，发了篇nature 。。
所以说Tahiliani偷shi的东西根本不可能，倒是shi跟风Rao的tet，发了篇cell
research吧。。。 |
