但如果期刊收到稿件很多，那这事儿估计是editorial assistants来做。我们学科（社
科类），editorial assistants一般都是高年级的博士生。
除了keywords之外，稿件试图跟谁对话也很重要。editor看得可能会细一些，博士生有
时候就看第一两页引了谁。 |

房子明年全部装修和加建，计划将家庭音像系统的走线布到墙壁和天花上。3卧室 + 1
带全卫的Office + 客厅 + Familiy room + 厨房。现在有一套多年前的ONKYO SR601 +
Polk Speakers (2 front stands, 2 Rear boxes, 1 center, 1 sub)。

PhD如果一直在academic混，对业界的工作定位就会不明确，所以开始投简历的时候职位
五花八门，简历也不够focus,不要紧，重要的是learn on your feet. 每一个联系你的公
司都是一条线索，可以用来找“同类项”。每一个有反馈的职位都有keyword,你应该把它
加入以后的简历中。这样简历逐渐成型（可以有多个模板），自己的目标也逐渐明确。我
有health services, epidemiology和biostat背景，开始时投任何有“health”"
research" "sas" 职位的工作，逐渐发展出几个模板。后来又发现发现epi薪水低，
biostat竞争不过专业的，而联系我的多是health insurance co. 和药厂（做consulting
的那两个也是接药厂活儿的）。于是不断修改简历，往里面码keyword, 范围缩小到
health economics，最后几个有戏的，都是与此密切相关的。

1。 monster是我的大本营，的确，很多phd工作不会在这儿登，但是这是了解公司的好地

感谢很多朋友来信。鉴于大家都很关心Google Intern的过程，我来详细的说说吧。Google intern interview的过程好像和以前不太一样了，目前在发正式offer前，需要经历2轮电话interview，然后会进入一个candidate pool，由manager来挑选，这个过程叫host bidding.
1. 电话interview: 都是google的开发人员来面的，所以比MS的HR难。当然从另一个方面来说，因为开发人员更容易理解你的code，你更容易和他们沟通。每个人大约2道题。其中一个人两个都是算法。另一个就会问一道概念题（当然，是很多小概念），一道算法。面完后，他们把feedback发给HR，如果两个人对你的评价都是positive，那么恭喜，你进入candidate pool 了。一般这个要等待1天到几周不等。
2.我电面是用google doc, 每次写一点儿要保存，有些麻烦。尤其是你要加个外层循环，需要把每一行都缩进，很麻烦。我个人不建议先在IDE里写，因为这是个interactive... 阅读全帖 |

synchronized method是对当前object lock。如果都是static synchronized或者都是
synchronized，则可以实现synchronization，因为是对同一个object。
那么在这个例子里面，f1和f2的两个synchronized是对不同的object lock。要让它们
真正synchronized，函数得用static synchronization。
以上是我的观点，不知对不对？
