我今天收到药,好大一盒。把我吓个半死。想想一路走过来的姐妹，没有一个是容易的。
8/6就要开始打Lupron了。医生order的是一盒Lupron 2 week supply.
我要打lupron 10 units/day for 15 days,8/21开始lupron改成5 units/day for 12
days.这盒2 week kit 够用那么多天吗？
附上calendar供要做IVF的JM参考。
7/30-8/12 take birth control pill
8/6-8/20 Lupron 10 units/day
8/20 ultrasound/bloodwork
8/21-8/31 Lupron 5 units/day, FSH(150 Follistim) + LH(2 Powders Menopur mix
with 1/2 cc water) ---3 office visit, volume will be adjusted based on test
result.
9/1 Lupron 5 units, Ovidrel

么都不知道，还是shock.
今天去诊所，才知道可能周四就要开始lupron， 比我想的要早好几天。一下子买
lupron就成当务之急了。前几天还去推荐的bluecross网站上查了，我的copayment是5
块，还挺得意的。今天从诊所离开后就立马开去cvs， 要拿lupron。结果药房的说，保
险不包，我说不会， 我在网上查了的。后来药房的人吞吞吐吐地说，可能要pre-
authorization。于是马上给bluecross打电话，被告知，这个药要pre-authorization
，把我电话transfer去wellpoint pharmacy，wellpoint 的人说今天会传真去我医生那
里，需要三天批准。
整个事情我到现在还搞不清楚，问问几位姐妹：批准了后，我是在任何地方拿药都可以
呢，还是要等wellpoint寄给我？这个是的fertility药，有点担心，你们的lupron批准
的都没有问题吧？ |

我拿到的Lupron也是14 day kit，一共包含2.8 ml（也就是280 units）。针管上面有
刻度，10 units = 0.1 ml。你一共需要 10x15 + 5x12 = 210 units，所以你的药是够
用的。针头很多是因为每次用的针不能重复使用，你数一下，你的针头数应该至少是27个。

Thanks for your advice.
I counted syringes. I have 34 in total.
Lupron & Follistim是打在肚皮上 or upper leg. Someone said it's easy for body to absord the medicine if you inject 在肚皮上.
My nurse only taught me how to inject Lupron & Follistim. I'm not confident
if I'll do it right. There's injection instruction on line.
By the way, be sure to refrigerate Lupron after opening. Follistim needs to be refrigerated, too.

打了几天促排针了，ULTRASOUND看不到卵泡长大，BLOOD TEST显示我的激素水平一直
FLAT，和正常无促排时一样。医生已经加大药剂量，会有用么？真是痛苦

is this a microdosage lupron flare protocol? If it is, then it is supposed
to be more aggressive (compared to the lupron and antogonist protocol).
Since you were taking diluted lupron, you are not likely to be over-
suppressed from the medication. One more protocol I know is called EPP,
designed for poor responders. Many women succeed with it after responding
poorly in all other three protocols.
If I were you, I would seek a second opinion before next try. |

I don't think I'm on a microdosage lupron flare protocol. I just googled and
it seems to me that my protocol is THE LUPRON PROTOCOL, the classical IVF
protocol.
So now I might switch to the following three potocols for poor responders,
if this cycle did not work out:
THE ANTAGONIST PROTOCOL
THE MICRODOSE LUPRON FLARE PROTOCOL

suppress。我就和医生商量改成10，她的护士坚持20是标准，后来收到药以后我又打电
话，说我非常非常worried。护士这次终于去问了医生，医生说可以改成10，没问题的
。不过我最后还是对促排药物不敏感，不过比你好一些，只出来了4个比较成熟的卵，
但还是取消了周期。后来我问医生是不是因为lupron把卵巢over suppress了，医生说
和lupron没有关系，就是我的促排药物量不够大。我用的是Follistim + Menopur. |

However, there is a possibility that the overy could be overly suppressed. You may want to be prepared for slow responses.
Here is my experience:
Protocol:

吧，她的医生才让她开始LUPRON的。 今天离我下次例假来还有13天，我要去看RE。昨
天电话里RE跟我说今天去了，下次再去就是来例假了。所以，我就怀疑，那我今天去，
不知道验不验血，就算验了血，那数值肯定跟例假前７天不一样，什么时候开始LUPRON
是应该根据验血结果呢，还是例假到期前倒算７天就可以了呢？ |

我的BCP和Lupron overlap了5天，我记得brochure说停了BCP后应该有例假，但我问过

现在换了家诊所，又开始了。6/2 first day of cycle, 现在每天一粒birth control
pill。护士说要6月22号才开始打LUPRON, 7月2号SCAN BEFORE STIMULATION.
我看有的JM说SUPPRESSION 一开始就打LUPRON,我前两个CYCLE分别是PERIOD第7天，第
12天开始打的，我这次是不是打得太晚了一点了？护士只是说每个诊所做的都有点不一
样。
医生说我用LONG PROTOCOL.

发帖数: 76 | 15 08/17 update - today, E2 lowered to 49 after two more days of Lupron. I'll start stimulate from 08/18. 有没有姐妹这时候卵巢疼啊， 我两侧都隐隐有痛感。
08/18 - started stimulation morning lupron 5u + follistim 150 u | Evening Menopur 150u.每天打3针啊。
08/20 - blood draw, E2 doubled - Doc said it's a good sign, continue injections.
08/26 - 我的E2就像expected 每两天翻一翻多， 我的follicle 太多，10mm以上每边有10个以上，我很担心会被over stim 了：（
08/27 - hcg shot 我有40-50 个follicles。〉20个〉10mm
我的hcg 减少到 5000 iu （通常是10000iu）because of high risk of OHSS

Westmore:7/27 到8/8 take birth control pill. 08/02 start Lupron. 08/14 start

我是7/30-8/12 take birth control pill, 8/6-8/20 lupron 10 units per day,8/20
ultrasound/blood work, 8/21 start IVF Cycle.

I'm suppose to start on birth control pills on 8/2, but do not start on
Lupron until 8/16. And do not start Gonal-F/Menopur until after my next
cycle starts.
Looks like you guys all start Lupron in one week after birth control pills
and start stimulation in the same cycle.........

medication). If it still doesn't work, it is quite common that an IVF is
canceled for some reason. I have a canceled cycle too. At least you and
your doctor know you body better now.
It seems to me that your lupron 20 units are a bit high -- mine is 10 when I
did my lupron cycle. And when I started to stim, I started with very high
dose and then gradually drop (starting dosage is 300 Gonal-F plus 150

天,也就是5天前开始打Lupron. 医生给的instructions上写着每天5 units.
我老婆打的时候看了药的说明,上面写着一次0.2ml,我们竟然鬼使神差的认为0.2ml就是
5 units,这样连打了5天,直到今天才发现0.2ml竟然是20 units. 就是说这5天我老婆一
直overdose Lupron. 我们很担心是否对身体不好,是否打乱了医生定的protocol,影响
接下来的IVF. 我们打电话给医生,医生说从明天起按5 unit打就行.
但我心里总担心是否应该继续这个cycle,还是cancel了等下个周期从新开始. 好不容易
等到了作ivf,谁知道第一步就犯这么愚蠢的错误.心里很沮丧. |

发帖数: 29 | 20 Lupron是抑制卵巢的，多打了就多抑制些，反正你们还没有stim，应该没事吧。我在
stim前一直是打lupron 10IU的，开始stim了之后才减为5IU。
Stim开始后会监测卵泡大小的，如果反应不佳，医生会调整药量。IVF自己打针是很容
易犯错，我老公用follistim pen就出过一次错，以为打了150IU，结果啥都没打进去，
发现了之后两个人也是非常沮丧，不过还是及时纠正了。现在看来，不纠正可能反而好
，因为我现在已经过激了。总之不必担心，没那么精准的。 |

。那么这个月还能自己试吗？如果１４天左右排卵期试后，万一怀孕了，２１天开始
LUPRON会对胎儿有影响吗？

PrecisionRx Specialty Solutions 1-800-870-6419 Free shipping。
bluecross允许你第一次在别的药房fill。然后他会给你发通知，说你要在PrecisionRx
Specialty Solutions fill blahblah.
另外CVS有这些药吗？
我的shock也是从lupron开始的。

Unfortunately, I am not young. I guess that I started with the classical
Lupron protocol because both my FSH level and my AFC (antral follicle count)
are good. I had my base FSH last September, the value being. I had a
ultrasound on Day 3 of my Period in this July before taking any medicine.
And was told that I had 17 follicles then.
So this was supposed to be an easy case. We went for IVF because of male

不过也没成功),也是因为促排不好,结果只取了两个成熟卵泡.我用的量也很大,一开始
都是4vials,两三天后直接到最大量6vials也不行,医生说下次让我试microdose Lupron
protocol,希望有作用,同时我也要再试试针灸.而且我觉得我对Menopur不敏感,上次医
生只用了这一种药促排,问下次protocol是不是换别的药告知不换,所以我决定找另外一
个更好的医生做2nd cycle. |

我上一个cycle就是overlap BCP with lupron 20 units for 5 days and drop to 5
units。 结果我的取卵数量和成功受精的胚胎都不错。
我想你们第一次IVF，很紧张，不用过多的自责了，毕竟这只是supression period，就
算是stim period 的 dosage 有错，医生也可以调节的。

是黑色和咖啡色的血，跟正常月经的血不太一样，
医生说这个因为吃避孕药的缘故所以跟正常周期的血不一样，是正常的。
建议你直接问医生查B超的时候，如果有疑问的话。 |
