在一个seminar上，我曾经用peasant worker 指民工，提问者问为什么用peasant
worker而不用farmer， 我解释了一通。这个教授给我解释了一些peasant的意思。他说
，peasant更接近农奴，也就是serf， 一般在中世纪用得比较多，现在都用famer， 不
用peasant。所以他认为我在现代用peasant不合适。我只好说我沿用了官方的说法，其
实我当时很想说，中国的peasant就是很像serf， 但由于问题比较复杂，我怕自己用英
语解释起来很麻烦，就作罢。
现在看来peasant worker也是很像农奴工人，被捆扎在工厂里，成为机器的一部分，没

由加拿大华裔女性创办的「亚裔和移居性工作者支援网络」昨晚召开了首个「移居性工
作者正义，和对反人口贩卖的忧虑」公开论坛，向人们讲述亚裔性工作者的真实故事，
藉此打破人们将移居性工作者等同于贩卖人口受害人的固化观念。
昨日在怀雅逊大学市中心校园举行的该论坛吸引了百余名社区维权积极分子以及普通民
众参加。主办者称由于社会对性工作者的歧视，令到她(他)们无法以公开的身分出席这
个会议，但希望与会者当中的性工作者们，未来将有希望自豪的以常人的身分出现在这
样公共的论坛当中。
论坛邀请了大学教授、来自温哥华和纽约的为女性工作者维权的积极分子与众人分享经
验，她们一致认为政府将反贩卖人口和打击移居性工作者混为一谈，其实是藉@维护正
义的旗号打压性工作行业和移居性工作人口，令塬本有权利选择自己生活方式的女性变
为真正的受害人，要遭受被遣返回国的危机。
主办机构负责人林依玲表示，政府为打击人口贩卖而设置的法例当中，把青少年、塬住
