得 moorlands elementary school附近如何? redfin上看到那里的房子价位也不便宜,
不知道值不值的在那里买房子呢?

今年秋天就要过来了，家有一个一岁半的小朋友，想在MOORLANDS, DEMUN, Brentwood
Forest附近找1000square feet 左右的2BD的APT，预算在$950以内，Central A/C and
heating, 木地板。我家宝宝绝对outdoors type,所以附近最好有playground。
这些天一直在网上找，moorlands/demun 离forest park近，但好像停车位挺挤得，有
住在这儿的妈妈吗？不知有没有走路就到的playground，小朋友可以玩。
brenthwood forest小区很不错，离Tills Park很近，playground 很好，但都是地毯，
不好清理。
有没有住这几个地方的妈妈提点建议，希望在新地方 |

从the hills看特别好，美国邻居们都拖家带口的出来看

斯瓦西里语（Swahili）里面kilima是山，njaro是我们。岂立马扎罗的意思是“我们的
山”。它有3个peak，Kibo, Mawenzi和Shira, 其中最高点Uhuru在Kibo, 5895米。
Uhuru是自由的意思。
说实话在去年之前从未考虑过攀登高山，一来我懒惰，二来我不知道自己的physical
limit, I hardly hiking. 直到在Canadian Rockies一天走了20多公里还没什么累的感
觉，我才感觉到也许我physical是良好的，心血来潮要爬这个山，至于什么trigger了
我，已经不记得了。看到别人爬山游记里说小时候就听说这个地方，或者要在snow cap
消失前亲眼见证, 或者看了海明威的《乞力马扎罗的雪》神往已久，我很惭愧。我小时
候既没听说过这个山，长大了也不关心快消失的snow cap。《乞力马扎罗的雪》还是这
次在乞力马扎罗山上才看完的。只是，非洲最高，听上去很有成就感。
我选择了Machame线路，俗称Whiskey Route，难度中等，风景是最好的，一路上会经过

走过了热带雨林到了相对开阔的moorland，渐渐开阔起来。早上起来跟挑夫说了，不要
再把我帐篷架在最外面了，压力太大。下午到了这个营地一看却是非常open的，也没的
选了。Shira campsite 3840m。这个海拔不会有大型食肉动物了，可以稍微放心，小型
动物却是不少．开饭的营地，像是一场群鸦的盛宴，乞立马扎罗上盛产这种whiteneck
raven。 |
