国人，assistant prof.,据说很恐怖，PSU的是个美国人，full professor,情况不明。
PSU的催要在4.15钱做决定，现在真的很难决定，如果以后的打算是做个faculty,该如何
选择，如果去企业工作呢？地理位置哪个更好？

本人EE Phd第四年。方向比较偏物理，device+nanotechnology，有个4，5篇journal
paper，但都不是什么好期刊，APL,JAP之类的都是。去过两次conference。之间有个一
个半导体公司实习一summer，但由于里毕业较远，将来那个return offer基本没可能。
老板很弱，没有任何networking。而且这些年phd基本全靠自己，问老板什么问题，回
答基本都是 I don't know。组里只有我一个学生。所以非常的痛苦。
本来5年内基本肯定能毕业。但最近越来越觉得，找工作是个大问题。本人绝没有志向
在学术领域再混，postdoc之类的绝不在考虑范围，可能是这些年太痛苦了。只想找个
工作，安定下来，搞定身份。
现在的问题是，quit掉实在有点可惜，但我在想，如果拿到这个phd学位会不会更难找
工作？与其那样的话，还不如quit掉。我之前没拿过ms学位，所以任何一个学期都可以
quit掉，拿ms学位，开opt。
哪位大牛能给我说说建议么？万分感谢。
另外，找工作的话，有人能帮忙refer一下么？ |

了。
对于学这个方向的ms，phd来说，process engineer啥的并不是唯一的出路。我们学的
也并不是这些工艺流程，而且这些工艺方法流程也并不一定只能用来生产chips。各种
glass，display，lense，sensor， actuator etc.都要用到这些东西。各种实验室里
nanotechnology，nanomaterials的研究不也一样进行的如火如荼。
生产工艺又不能就代表了整个半导体行业。 |
