, transgenic mice with tons of plaques don't have any disease phenotype.
Second, drugs destroy plaques in human don't do anything to improve the

为什么？因为发现的绝大部分家族性的AD的变异，效果都是针对APP的，很多变异直
接导致amyloid plaque更易于积累。这些家族因为变异，直接效果是早早产生amyloid
plaque，然后产生AD，这点清清楚楚。而且除此以外还有其他很强的数据。现在这个因
果关系还没有绝对证明----因为毕竟没办法在人中作实验-----但说是相当可信不为过。
免疫系统是自我保护机制，但自身免疫疾病中免疫系统是致病原因。amyloid plaque
也许是神经系统自我保护，但在AD里是致病原因，我想现在的数据还是非常支持的。

entia 也会形成plaque 但是这不说明Abeta amyloid就是dementia的充分条件 甚至很可
能也不是必要条件，这里面的关系从我一个外行的角度看很不清楚
比如说 APP老鼠没形成plaque的时候有时候就会出现demintia/neuronal death,反过来
阻止了plaque的方法（beta-secretase KO, Abeta antibody）未必就一定能够阻止de
mentia.
而且现在的实验都还是没有完全解决到底是soluble Abeta还是amyloid才是致病机理的
问题，尽管现在看起来更多的人相信是soluble abeta导致了疾病 而amyloid是自我保护
机制。
不过总的来说APP/Abeta和AD的关系应该不太会有问题 至少在APP突变的病人里AD的发展

我要替中国辩护，并不是因为我是一个中国人，而是因为我知道中国就和这世界上绝大
数的国家一样，虽然有很多丑陋的现象，但是他们是受害者。就
象这个犯罪集团里很多的人一样，他们来自各种种族，他们可能充当了工具，但他们不
是制造这一切，谋划这一切的人。虽然经常会暴露中国产品出现问题。但要知道中国是
世界工厂，他们只是打工者，他们只是按照各种雇主提供的配方来生产，他们并不知道
他们会产生怎样的后果。或者这些工人知道后果，但他们只是奴隶，他们又如何去改变
这一切？ 所以，当我的调查不断往前推进的时候，不可避免地会涉及各国的企业，但
这并不表明是针对这个国家或这个国家的人民，而是针对一种社会现实和丑陋现象。就
拿菲律宾来说，菲律宾是一个犯罪猖獗的国家，有很多犯罪分子，但是菲律宾人民却是
这个集团的受害者，他们／她们被绑架，沦为了牺牲品，人体实验对象。一个日本人，
强奸上千名菲律宾女孩，却没有受到惩罚。以前我也提到过，有20个国家的名单，这20
个国家的人民其实都是受害者。现在他们把矛头对准中国，或许仅仅是因为我揭示了他

明天，世界史维会（世界抗日战争史实维护会）会在CUPERTINO 正式提交PROPOSAL，如
果PROPOSAL被采纳，会进入AGENDA， 从而正式开始运作在CUPERTINO 建立纪念碑，纪
念第二次世界大战期间被屠杀的人民，其中当然包括南京大屠杀，731， 慰安妇，珍珠
港等事实。
CUPERTINO 市议员这些年来一贯不作为，我们的提案会遇到阻力，而不少政治人物后面
都有日裔背景，最初都是日裔GROUP 支持的。我们需要更多的华人的支持！

may not really reveal potential heart problems.
I just happen to read the following post and would like to share.
It is a long read but the gist is that this guy paid $1400 to have a really
thorough tests because he too find casual blood test is just not enough.
Lucky for him his heart is find although they find tiny scar tissue at his

Former Michigan coach Lloyd Carr will be inducted in the College
Football Hall of Fame, the Detroit News reported Saturday.
Carr retired after the 2007 season with 122 wins and the 1997 national
championship on his resume. Brian Griese, the 1997 quarterback and an
ESPN analyst, made the announcement Saturday night when many of Carr's
former players gathered for a fund-raising dinner for Mott Children's
Hospital in Ann Arbor, Mich.

发帖数: 48486 | 47 上周末Knoxville的Foothills Celebrities Open II俺打的不错，虽然功亏一篑，在
Class A第三名的争夺战中失利，与奖金失之交臂，最终一无所获，但却是参加
tournament以来打的最好也是打的级别最高的一次，积分应该长了不少。
特别是上午小组的比赛，打的很放松，最终4胜1负。1：3输了一位积分1960的对手，除
了最后一局以外，其它局比分都咬得很紧。其中一个回合，我是回味无穷啊，先是对方
抢先起板，我防起来了，对方根本没想到，所以第二板攻击力量不够，我打回头，没想
到对方也接回来了，然后我反手攻，就这么退台正反手打了7，8个回合，最终我拉球失
误结束，但是双方都很过瘾。
小组三个积分比我低的对手，我都是前两局开始先让几个球，然后再追，顺便热热身，
一般第三局打个大比分。但是对其中一位没让好，10：12输了一局。呵呵。
上午小组的关键之战就是对一位积分1797的对手了，赢了我下午打Class A，估计会一
无所获，输了打Class B应该能拿个冠军plaque。但是内plaque居然跟上次一样，就是
颜色换了，整的我很不爽。所以决定要是能赢就争取下 |

发帖数: 48486 | 48 来到Ohio这个小town已经一周了，一直很忙，虽然平时也有闲暇等机械工人或者Robot
Guy的时候，但是由于睡眠不足，闲的时候也懒得码字儿了。只能看看"读书"杂志或者
小儿书解解闷儿了。
昨天只工作了8小时（当然昨儿是星期六，呵呵），回到旅馆好好休息了一下，终于缓
过来了。星期天工厂除了我们几个人外，只有一位Maintenance Guy过来给我们开门吧
，忙了一上午，刚处理完一枚图片，终于可以坐下来休息一下了。
如果今儿3点半正常回去的话，过去的一周我工作了78小时，虽然累点儿，倒是有不少
加班费，正好保证了参加比赛的费用了，呵呵。
既然有空，而且没有嘈杂的人声和马达的轰鸣，甚至连平时放的流行音乐都没了。我
jiao着不如舒舒服服在休息室写写几周前Knoxville的比赛。
一年前我第一次去Knoxville比赛，得了一枚C Division的冠军Plaque，没想到一年后
我又得了一枚C Division的冠军Plaque。虽然同是C Division冠军，但是无论是内容和
过程都完全不一样了。
去年我参加比赛的时候rating还不到1500，比赛结束后涨了53分，今年比赛前是 |

发帖数: 1210 | 49 这是个很错误的想当然的说法，干粮被咬碎后的末末占在牙齿缝里是更容易形成plaque
的，可能有的猫吃东西嚼得不仔细，干粮或许比罐头对这类猫烧好些，但是也根本达
不到吃干粮就能洗干净牙齿的程度，只能说这类吃饭不细嚼慢咽的猫吃干粮造成牙齿
plaque 沉积的速度慢些而已，只要用嘴巴吃饭，刷牙才是做有效的措施。。。
板上已经有实际的例子，就是点点跟爬爬，两个是亲兄弟，但是一个爱吃干粮，一个爱
吃罐头，因为爱吃干粮的那头好像是属于吃饭细嚼慢咽型的，虽然爱吃干粮，罐头吃的
很少，但是牙齿比几乎全部吃罐头的自己的亲兄要差很多，以至于必须送到医院洗牙的
地步。。。 |
