一美国同事，原来在Monsanto干了十几年，后来变成Pharmacia，然后被Pfizer吃掉，
紧接着大裁员而被layoff。虽然又找到我们这里，但心里一直愤愤不平。于是说起当年
Pharmacia的CEO, 就是今天Schering Plough的CEO, Fred Hassan.
当年Pharmacia干得红红火火的时候，Hanssan已经非常积极向Pfizer靠拢，借口
Pharmacia的销售力量不够，要借用Pfizer促销产品，于是两公司开始了良好的合作。
合作的结果就是Pfizer合并了Pharmacia。据说Pfizer开始并没有要去买Pharmacia, 全
靠Hanssan从中游说鼓动。公司卖掉后，Hanssan获得约600million的好处走人，不到一
个月，便去Schering Plough继续当CEO了。Pharmacia则开始了血腥大裁员。
此人到了Schering Plough，故伎重演，开始积极联系Schering Plough与Merk合作。这

不管干雪湿雪都能从山顶轻松飘下的是极少数。我碰到过很多滑雪的，而且都是滑了很
多年的，不管认识的不认识的，滑完湿雪都会抱怨大腿很酸，然后加上一句，今天的雪
很湿很重。
根据水平的高低，其实最主要毛病就是你贴的这个教学网站提到的snow plough，根据
snow plough 的程度的不同，累的程度也就不一样。我想plough湿雪比plough干雪受到
的阻力要大，这么浅显的物理原理，不需要我来扫盲吧。
而且根据我个人的体会，从一开始滑湿雪很累，到后来不太累，再到上个季末能在湿雪
状况不太糟的情况下（湿雪堆不太大的状况下）以很快的速度轻松飘下，我当然不是在
这瞎yy。
另外，你确实对我的滑雪水平作了评价，难倒谁引用kill the snow plough，谁就只有
snow plough 的水平？这个逻辑有点滑稽吧。你如果不同意我的看法，可以就这个看法

Exactly what makes it a much harder work on wet snow for Mr./Ms. average.
The problem is many intermediate even advanced skier don't feel it on dry
snow because at this level their plough is not so dramatic and some skidding
is tolerable. But, you can't cheat on wet snow especially those ungroomed
ones.
That's why I say wet snow is 试金石。 |

烟囱很快就堵了。
俺刚才出去套上了对付这种极端情况的plough，干了两小时，推完了。后面估计下不了
多少了。这个plough就是麻烦，装上去蛮重，费时间，四个车轮子还要上链子，要不抓
不住地。折腾一次准备好要花俺半小时，卸下来还要二十分钟。呵呵，好在都是车在出

pedestrians along a busy road in Islington, London.
At least three people have been taken to hospital following the incident
which happened just before 11pm on Saturday outside the Old Queen’s Head
