BOSTON (MarketWatch) -- Schering-Plough Corp. and Merck & Co. led drug
stocks into positive territory early Friday, with both stocks gaining ahead
of a scheduled scientific presentation of data for their popular cholesterol
drug Vytorin.
The Amex Pharmaceutical Index (DRG) was up marginally at 299.8 and the Amex
Biotechnology Index (BTK) rose 0.6% to 733.8.

Scios （part of JNJ) 做了个治疗acute heart failure的nesiritide，但是马上被人
诟病：可能效果和硝酸甘油差不多。
Novartis 搞了个降血压的aliskiren,马上就有人怀疑其相对于血管紧张素"普利"类的

things, the treatment can get more accurate, then a
cocktail method of multiple specific drug may start
to emerge.

I was just trying to say biologics are very specific and
treatment based on specific targets is more accuate, less
toxicity, etc. I am sure there are other issues with
biologics compared with small molecule.
