before. 2010年打算就写journal entry去改正retained earning了，2011年打算
reconcile all activities.那如果从2011年起reconcile American express credit
card acct,beginning balance的difference如何来处理呢?在2010年的trial balance
里并没有看到有american express credit card的数值。用的QuickBooks软件。如何解

我解释一下，我的问题问得不好，我想说的是AP account，不是银行账户。我们AP余额
和实际的应付账款差了几十万，一眼看上去就是不对的，但是老板从来不管，居然审计
的人也不问。
后来偶然的机会发现有人记错帐了，老板说要开始RECONCILE乐。这个被发现的问题是
这样的：
1， 记录信用卡余额
DR AP
CR AP
2 支付信用卡余额
DR AP
CR CASH
3 记录信用卡实际费用
DR EXP ACCOUNTS
CR AP
看起来是不是很乱？他们就是把AP当作CLEARING ACCOUNT在用，问题出在步骤3没有记
录全部步骤1-2付出的钱。这里只是一个例子，他们还把AP用作其他各种功能。
现在怎么才能RECONCILE呢？再次谢谢大家的帮助。 |

第一，了解一下现在银行余额和账上difference是多少？
第二，看一下过去几个月的明细，了解一下主要调节项的性质是什么。这个只是概念上
的理解，心理有个底，对以后编制reconciliation有帮助。
第三，这个我就真不懂了。如果差别金额不大的话，是不是可以在账上直接做一笔分录
把账和银行对帐单调平，当作从头开始。下个月按照正常程序来reconcile。这样的做
法，在理论上看来，我是想不出有什么大问题的。 |

February bank statement and try to trace each check cleared into the General
Ledger. If a check was cleared in February, but not in the GL, then record
that check. Do the same thing for March too. Then, trying to see if you have
any missed checks by reviewing the sequence of check #. Cash receipt side
will be the same thing. This way, try to see if you can reconcile the
February bank statement and March Bank statement. |

基本上每个账户的最终balance 都为零。老板说很多公司都是这样的。不晓得其他公司
是不是？还没理解为什么bank account balance始终为零是怎么回事。
还有，我在的这个公司reconcile cash有format （用excel做成）。和学校学的有点类
似，但很不同啊。学校学的太简易了。是不是每个公司做cash reconciliation的流程

surcharge, reconciled discount吧。discount这个我明白。base rate和fuel
surcharge也需要reconciled?
如果你们帐号的fuel surchaege rate是7.5%，用户的fuel surcharge rate算出来也是
7.5%，那你们肯定是用了公式重算。如果你们的fuel surchaege rate是7.5%，用户的
fuel surcharge rate算出来也是7.0%或者更低，那可能就是我写的第一种简单算法.
我一个建议：要么公布你们的运费计算公式，要么你在系统里面把你们自己的base
rate,fuel surcharge等和给用户的一同贴出来。
不然我确实要被绕进去了。

shipment ID。每个shipment ID的条目都会显示你sent多少个，received了多少个。提
醒大家要好好检查，如果received少于sent一定要及时开case。具体方法就是点击
reconcile然后开case。
这里特别要指出几个重要的tip，很多老手也不知道：
1. 建议你一定要按last updated的时间排序。然后一个个查。为什么？因为有些
shipment有可能是你半年前开的，到今天才close。所以你很容易就会漏掉。
2.追讨期9个月，过了就赖掉不会赔你。而且随着时间的推移，有问题的及时reconcile
也会开始要求你提供invoice。如果短时间内你去reconcile有可能不需要你出invoice
，时间一长就会要求，所以及时检查很重要。
3.有时候FC搞错了，比如你同一种东西，寄了2次，每次寄100个，然后shipping queue
里显示一个shipment收到40，另一个收到160.然后你觉得没什么问题，就没有开case追

我其实是一个很拧巴的人。五年前不敢要孩子，因为觉得自己还没有reconcile myself
with this world，完全是因为我家领导是一个那么爱孩子的人，才让我无奈中做出了
事后看，反而是人生中最正确的决定。然后突然间就发现，那些原来让我纠结不已的
predetermined and random factors，原来绝大部分都可以是causal的。
It's not necessarily the right way or the only way, but it is an easy way

如果失去自由，那么不如去死。源于苏格兰裔美国人巴德里克·亨利一七七五年三
月二十三日于殖民地维吉尼亚议会演讲中的最后一句：Give me liberty or give
me death.

主席先生：
没有人比我更钦佩刚刚在会议上发言的先生们的爱国精神与见识才能。但是，
人们常常从不同的角度来观察同一事物。因此，尽管我的观点与他们截然不同，我
还是要毫无顾忌、毫无保留地讲出自己的观点，并希望不要因此而被认为是对先生
们的不敬。此时不是讲客气话的时候，摆在各位代表面前的是国家存亡的大问题，
