美国共和党全国大会（RNC）今天终于开始了，电视里自然铺天盖地地转播。看着那拍着
会场外面的镜头，正是我们昨天示威时经过的地方，倒也感到亲切。
民主党全国大会（DNC）开幕时，我人在波士顿，却正参加一个亚裔晚会，因此没有看到
电视转播。今天RNC的白天内容我也没有看到，晚上的开幕，却很有创意地用了Saturday
Night
Live的开场。先是一个来自纽约州的代表站在纽约的旗下，对着摄像机大喊：“Live
from New York！”然后，在好听的萨克斯风爵士乐声中，会场的大屏幕上播出纽约街景
，做得正如SNL一般。当然，明星们不再是那帮搞笑专家们，而是John McCain、朱里安尼
、施瓦辛格、劳拉·布什、切尼以及布什总统。当一幅幅纽约街头的超大广告牌上现出他
们的头像时，会场内一阵欢声雷动，掌声如潮。
对于我这个SNL的死忠扇子来说，如此的开头自然得分不少，令我一改以往对共和党的“
呆板沉闷”的偏见。再看会场内，随着轻松的音乐，也有不少人随着节奏，举起双手，轻
