公开水域游泳技巧
In my many years in this sport, I have never seen any reasonably
complete article in the magazines dealing with open water swimming (they
seem to rehash the same basic stuff every few years). A lot of them talk
about how to draft, or tell you to look up every few strokes to stay on
course, but very few seem to deal with the subject in much detail.

Round Up 是通杀农药，从叶子吸收的。在土里面没有什么用的。
只要没有喷到家草，不用担心从土壤渗透。
Round Up 里面加点洗手的肥皂水可以增加附着力。很多植物
表面有蜡，水占不上。这样可以增加 Round Up 吸收程度。
个别消灭，有些人（包括我）用画笔把 Round Up 涂到叶子上，
这样可以减少误杀。比较适合少量杂草混在家草里面的情况。
Round Up 要两个星期才发作。

这个 sprinkler, 如果不厌其烦看看教程的话就知道，不是一个头能够
撒均匀的。是通过三个以上的头相互覆盖撒均匀的。

not check to see how was Joe the second day after he cut the rope - I did

this kind of net is specially for pier fishing.
pier is about at least 15 to 20 meters above sea surface.
when people go pier fishing, he or she would bring this kind of net.
you can go basspro, or calebin (sorry the typo) , or other stores to ask for
pier landing net. sometimes it comes with its own rope.
others you need to buy rope and tie a knot by yourself.
according to your description, it requires very high technology for one
person

in my store, the common landing net is about $30 if it is 4 meters long.
I didn't see 10 meters long common landing net.
actually, you can buy a net, and then tie a rope, and build your own
pier net. but I calculate the cost, the net plus rope is not cheap yet.
especially rope.
you don't need to buy a glove just for landing. you can try a wood stick.
I normally use a wood stick to retrieve my snagged hook.

drink up the milk and take the container.
When fishing, go to the bank of a lake and
pick up small stone or sand along the bank.
Put the small stone or sand into the milk container.
Use a rope to tie the container at the handle. Tie the other end to the
kayak.
Throw the container with the small stone or sand into water, when you want
to anchor your kayak.
If it gets tangled, cut the rope and leave.

4.如果你已经比较advance了，不满足于top rope,需要follow,可能你需要更多的
locking biner，除了3里提到的两个你必须买，至少还要２－４个locking biner, 经
过了不同的尝试，现在我只推荐这款 Black Diamond Quicksilver screwgate (现在出
了quicksilver2):

注意：这个biner很轻，但是也比较＂单薄＂，所以如果anchor受力很大，比如说是
main anchor,一定要把两个double起来用．

以上的我不太赞同，biner看上去“单薄”与否我个人认为和安全性没有关系。基于以
下几个理由：
1，BD，petzl等大厂的biner，在设计上就已经严格考虑过安全性了，除非是厂家特殊

Plan to take MR. I think our party has little experience about using rope in
snow/ice environment and rope team so probably it is a better choice not to
bring the rope and proceed with care, turn back if condition is too icy.

室外现在lead 5.8应该说问题不大，5.9试过一条也上去了
很多人号称top rope和lead差别很大，我们的问题是没人带
自力更生，没有那种别人带自己就不去练lead那种依赖心理，
所以觉得貌似差别不是特别大
当然10B这种top rope努上去的肯定lead不了
这个grade就是给你个大概感觉让你不必才鸟尝试太难的，或者高手浪费在太容易的，主
观性非常强
而且不同类型的石头差别很大，我到现在都觉得big rock一个号称5.5的lead比别的地方
的5.8的都可怕，主要是石头特别滑，又没多少手点脚点，就是friction rock，靠平衡 |

看山的去处。而且summit的Knife Edge，没的说是一绝。
不过，出了snow的下山的一路实在是unreasonable。可恨的是，我的rope leader，
Linda，她glacier climbing竟然拿了个11mm的普通rock rope，还不是dry！到了camp
就扔给我背，50米的绳子，再加上吸得水，五一直背完了所有的boulder crossing. 给
了Greg给背到TH。那会已经是6 hours after glacier，the rope was still wet, wet
, and wet!
Greg还是很发指的。Eldorado呀，他竟然背了个car camping的折叠椅。我们一路
approaching，一停下来，他就把他的folding chair拿出了坐着！到了camp，竟然更发
指的坐在chair上边观风景，边抽cigar，边品着wine！ |

NE 的5 fall，impact force 9.8KN
Mammut那个通过sharp edge test，有mid mark和two end marks。
用流行的话说，我老大的意思是因为爬trad多，impact force小的绳子好。NE的10.5mm
，留下来当alpine rope太重了

1)有长路线（超过60m的），不过这种情况不多
2)爬multi pitch, 需要link pitch,但是link起来又超过60m, 小于70m的，这种情况比
较多见
3）rappel，很多pitch就比30m稍微长一点， 用60m绳子做single rope rappel就不行，
这时候需要70m绳子
总的来说，现在最主流的还是60m绳子，很多路线都是按照这个绳长设计的，如果不是特
殊需要，不建议买70m绳子
double rope你是指用double rope climb? 这个最主要的好处是可以1带2，并且提供冗

发帖数: 13580 | 42 41 grams is a lot of weight for a non-locking biner. For reference, nano is
23 grams, neutrino is 36, Oz is 28, Helium is 33. I use Oz for the rope size
of all my draws and I found it big enough, even with super thick and stiff
ropes (>10.5, club ropes, not mine).
I don't care much about weight when I climb sport routes though. I use BD
quicksilver QDs when I climb at Vantage |

only credit I have.
I kicked off most of the ice there at the chimney. Then climbed up.
The second rope team lead came, asked: "Why there is so much ice?!" I
responded: "I already kicked most of them off."
When the climb leader came to the whale's back, said that he would have
turned around if he was the first rope lead and saw the ice inside the
chimney.
Anyway, the basic follower he was leading was a little bit "schech |

正在看以前上lead和anchor课时，老师发的大纲/材料。
就那么几页纸。不过还是收获不少。好像都是干货，把各种情况都讲到了。
其中有一条就是：
如果想作为一个trad leader“毕业”，必须lead最少4 pitches of aid.
不过问题又来了，首先aid的gear要多不少，而且以后不aid也用不上。
其次aid也得先学呀，还得上他的aid课，上aid课的前提是要能multi pitch,
还得先上multi pitch课。
感觉他的课真的很不错，虽然很贵，而且没有书上讲的细。
但全是干货和他自己的经验。真后悔没把他的课上全，剩下下面的课没上。

way for the rappel and 2 pitch aid climb. Other ropes in the pictures are

gym and asked them where to find climbing partners. The staff told him to
get a rope and gear and wait in the parking lot. He was like: "OK, I'd look
stupid but nobody here knows me anyway" so he did. Then there came this dad
with two kids pulling in on their truck. As they were sorting gear, one kid
said "oh crap, we only have one rope". Then my friend went up and said "here
