purse。我是在90年代中接触了这些概念，而且在湾区正在大更新的Tech Museum试用了
smart card的样品。在当时来说可以储存很多个人信息，对网络不发达的地区是很有用
的。当时美国的网络正在大提速，smart card的主要功能在美国不实用。我当时在转行
申请计算机系，在一份（UCB）申请资料里特别提到打算以后回国做这方面的想法！我

我没想到这个看起来似乎在某种技术落后情况下合理的产物在一年半前才在美国信用卡

A mother in Texas shot a carjacker who was stealing her vehicle while her
two young children were inside, police say.
The woman jumped back into her SUV after the suspect got into the driver's

宋金元明，文字基本没变，文化核心基本没变，人口核心基本没变，经典书籍还在。虽
然一切在变，但这个变化是连续的，好比你从小到大不停在变，但你还是你。
假定你以前是小将，后来出国了，发现美国如此美好，成了老将，虽然你变了，你还是
你，其中是有连续性的。而如果你死了，另外一个人拿你的身份证，住你的房子，领你
的退休金，那是identity thief。没有连续性，你就不是你了。
另外一个有意思的地方，在“汉族政权”统治下，汉族反而萎缩，地盘变小，比如明朝。
在“少民政权”统治下，汉族地盘反而变大，比如辽金元。
埃及肯定不能比，实际上，古埃及也有类似元朝那种，比如被闪米特占领之类，法老是
闪族；但问题不在于元朝那种，而是古埃及在后来阿拉伯伊斯兰化的时代彻底消失了。
语言没了，人种没了，文字没了，文化也没了，不存在连续的变化。话说就连古埃及人
种是黄人白人还是黑人，都是有很大争论的。
只留下埃及这个名字，其实这还是一个希腊名字。和美索不达米亚、叙利亚、小亚细亚
、利比亚、马其顿等类似，都是希腊人给起的地名。 |
