来自主题: WaterWorld版 - An interesting thing in ZL case debate here
Here we already saw people's concerns about ZL's case. People analyzed the
case, search ZL's classmates home addresses, write letters to their
companies, ask for poll in the US government's website. They did everything
to show their concerns about this case. It's good. I support all of these.
But what is interesting is that how many people care about what the status
of ZL now? How much money she needs now? How much income per month her
family have? How much they spend on ZL's medical care per mo...

But if you look at this BBS, how many people here know how much money ZL's
family is earning now and how much she needs for the medical care?
But if you are looking for Xue Gang's address, Xu Gang's company, where Wang
Qi is, what's the name of SW now. You can pretty easily find hundreds of
posts here.
Why?
Most posts are asking people to escalate the issue to US government, to
write letters to Xue Gang's company. Yes they can do that. They are free to
do so. It's their choices. And I believe th...

posts above. They only care about those things. Isn't this intersting?

This kind of puts things in perspective. If we could shrink the earth's
population to a village of precisely 100 people, with all the existing
human ratios remaining the same, it would look something like the
following.
There would be:
57 Asians
21 Europeans
14 from the Western Hemisphere, both north and south
8 Africans
52 would be female
48 would be male
70 would be non-white
30 would be white
70 would be non-Christian
30 would be Christian
89 would be heterosexual
11 would be homosexual

Hope is the thing with feathers
That perches in the soul,
And sings the tune without the words,
And never stops at all,
And sweetest in the gale is heard;
And sore must be the storm
That could abash the little bird
That kept so many warm.
I've heard it in the chillest land,
And on the stangest sea;
Yet, never, in extremity,
It asked a crumb of me.

来自主题: Heart版 - THE HARDEST THING ...
他会说,THE HARDEST THING ....

I'm more attracted by the ways of doing things, than doing it itself.
I love you in this way, I do this for you, not because of you, but me.
because of that's the way I define how a people should love another. I'm
educated and I'm just doing what I'm told.
Then is how to do a measure of love or other matters? Obviously not. stop
thinking basing on ways, but feel the intentions and know the thoughts.

What do forecasters mean when they say things such as, "There is a 30
percent chance of rain"?
A: The National Weather Service says, "The probability of precipitation is
the likelihood of measurable precipitation (0.01 inches or greater) for a
specified forecast time period, and occurring at any point for which the
forecast is valid."
A reasonable English translation of this bit of government speak is: The

what do you mean "stupid things"?
