usually there is a bleeding screw
on thermostat housing. it is a small bolt with a hole
at the center.
open it slightly. add coolant into radiator until
no air bubble comes out and you can see steady coolant
flow down from the bleed screw.
tighten the bleed screw to 6-7ft*lbs, or slightly with
a 3/8 rachet.

But I got my set from Costco. The plastic bar looks weak but is strong enough,
and you have to block it with something (I blocked it on another pulley). I
happened to try this when my impact wrench was broken. This method is highly
recommended, as it's easy just next to the impact wrench. |

A question for advice 1: I think tighten up the rest of the nuts might help
to get the broken nut off since the cause of the broken nut was a stupid
clockwise turn...
I will try to drill some nick on the broken nut, but broken nut does not
have a perfect surface for drilling when it broke.
You must be a pro in car repair.

bolt before using power tool so the thread was crossed.
I returned to the shop a few days later but the guy was not working that day
. I asked around and most of the advices I got were that the mechanic would
probably deny any wrongdoing so I didn't bother to go back to the shop later.
I finally had to use a saw to cut the bolt open. |

what you are experiencing is call "warping"
What gumtx mean is:
you need to tight lug nuts evenly. tight nuts in a star pattern and
gradually. (star partten if your have 5 bolts, and cross pattern if you have
4 bolts.)
one cause for warping is that you tighten one nut fully tight first and
then move to the next one.
warping can also be caused by worn disc. did you only change the pad but
not the disc?

发帖数: 5998 | 44 I just did one this weekend, quite easy actually. Different cars might have different procedures, but should not be too different. Here is what I did:
1) Jack up the car safely on jack stand.
2) Locate transmission pan under neath. Remove drain plug and let drain. This took out about 4qt ATF. Put teh plug back on. Be careful not to mess up the seal. Most drain pugs need to be torqued to 25lb-ft, so don't over tighten it.
3) Locate the transmission cooling outlet lane out of radiator. Remove the |

old outer shim + old inner shim + old brake pad <---> disk(rotor) <--> old
brake pad + old inner shim + old outer shim。
根据网上研究，inner shim 是有上面有缝隙的，outer shim是没有缝隙的。
既然这个贴片是shim，那么装了以后是：
old outer shim + old inner shim + new shim+ new brake pad <---> disk(rotor)
<--> new brake pad + new shim + old inner shim + old outer shim。
每个brake pad 有三个 pad shim，这样对吗？

coil, so you have to take them off first. After that you will see the spark
plus. The most difficult ones are located in the back of the motor.
To reach the front spark plugs you must remove the plastic cover using a 10
mm socket to remove 4 bolts. You will now be able to see the spark plug
wiring. You will not see the big fat ignition wires that older cars have.
