market to weaken the yen Friday for the second time in just over a week.
In early afternoon trading Friday in Tokyo, the dollar jumped suddenly from
mid-84 yen to as high as 85.38 yen.

看看你们去过几个？
排名第三的彼得堡的state hermitage museum，拍过电影russian ark，就记得金碧辉
煌，没看到什么画……
排第15的Yale Center for British Art我也常觉得比英国的画廊都好……小而精致，
各个时期和画家的代表作收集得很精，介绍也很精，看完印象很深。建筑也很宽敞明亮
，令人愉快，不过太亮是不是对画不好。
有个Doha的Museum of Islamic Art。希望有机会去。
台北故宫上榜，北京故宫没上，倒是北京的789工厂榜上有名。说最近有一个Duchamp
and/or/in China的展览，到六月中截止。听着挺有趣，不知道goldy去看过没。
第50名是波士顿的museum of bad art，听着很好玩，有人去过吗？

whenever I have Japanese food, I would always compare it against my
expereince in Tokyo. When I first came to New York in the 90s, I had always
look forward going back to Japan in summers because the Japanese food in NYC
was pretty bad then. It has improved so much in the past 10 years. Now, the
top Japanese restaurant in NYC is very compareable to those you would find
in Tokyo. I no longer miss Japan...

刚和 组里的日本教授聊过
Houston 有到Tokyo 的直飞
但是太贵 单次飞行时间又太长 所以他每次都是飞 仁川 转东京 总时间涨了 50% 啊
不过是便宜了不少 主要他总是圣诞之类的节假日回日本
另外一个小问题 都说市场决定价格
不过 Houston, Tokyo, Shanghai 也算是大的国际机场了 需求不小啊 怎么总是偏贵呢
仁川 San Antonio, Corpus Christi 之类的需求偏小 却便宜
是不是航空公司故意赚high margin profit 啊 不怕座位卖不掉 (Houston飞Tokyo的
确没见过空位过 看来还有上涨空间) |

Japan uses 747-400 for domestic routes, all economy 500 passenger
configuration I believe. They fly routes like Tokyo-Sapporo, Tokyo-Fukuoka,

打的中文客服8004928095，等了将近20分钟接通了。不过服务态度不错，最后订到从东京转机了。
郁闷的是，中文客服说我的票已经被订到从东京转了，但是下午我跟American airline
明明说再考虑考虑是否从东京转，他们竟然就私自做主了。
新的行程 College Station- Dallas -Tokyo-Beijing，东京转机3个小时，问了客服，不用日本签证，但说如果从加拿大转需要签证。
就是在Dallas转机时间有点短，只有1个小时20分钟。

A heroic homeless man, stabbed after saving a Queens woman from a knife-
wielding attacker, lay dying in a pool of blood for more than an hour as
nearly 25 people indifferently strolled past him, a shocking surveillance

e.g. last time I have AA from NY to Tokyo, then had the
connecting flight by Cathay from Tokyo to HK... no need
