力。老黑长了一身不属于网球运动的赘肉，你没有利用这点，这是关键。目测他至少多
你40磅，如果能反复调动他，抱着宁可输球也要消耗他的打法，搞出最近皇马对拜仁，
切尔西对利物浦这两场足球的丑陋风格，对方会无所适从的。

to get bumped. How many points is the one in Beaumont? Houston one is a
major zone 400 points. The word is if you win the 4.0 of that one you'll get
bumped to 4.5. Next major zone is I east texas I. June I think.
I would suggest to play these tournaments the experience you gain from it
can't be bought from lessons. I think experience is better than usta league

then it will help you to manipulate opponent much easier and exhaust his
energy.
another point: practice more BH slice which will give you more time and
opportunity to control your game and opponent's rhythm.......
agree, tournament will give you more experience, however it requests more on
your physical reservoir and consistency. you MUST fight 2-4 matches all

只接受8对，来分两组，每组4对，round robin。之后的每小组的top 2进入semi final
。但现在既然10对报名了，那就10对一起来玩呗。
这是我现在对这10对4.0+ pairs的比赛安排计划：
分成3小组，3+3+4，然后选择1+1+2，进入semi final。这从3+3这两个小组选出的No 1
，如果是2：0进入semi final的，那就去与那个4 pairs小组经过round robin打出来的
No 2，来打semi final，另一个晋级的，就同4 pairs小组的No 1来打semi final。如
果这两个从3+3这两个小组选出的两个No 1，都是2：0或者都是1：1看小分晋级的，那
就让这两对，再打一个10-point tiebreak，来决定谁是同另一4 pairs小组的No 1和No
2来打 semi final。

时开始之前就进行。Houston很大的，不容易安排四对后报名的人来提前就进行比赛。
否则，安排提前就开赛的，可能就有人直接放弃了。
所以我当初，是只想限制8对。
另外，还有B组，3.5-level的呢，也同时进行比赛。 |

satelites.
Second hand in play picking up AK in big blind, everybody folded and small
blind completed. Not sure what hit me, I push all in 1500 with 20/40 blinds
totally expecting a fold. Freaky SB called with limped AA and I was out
like donkey.
With thousands players, could easily lose patience maybe I have suffered
enough from satelites. But it's very important to have patience, escepically
in early
stage. |

it only helps you to get familiar with the game rules (if you are not yet),
the site, how to bet/raise/fold...
discouraging but the fact is, be prepared to lose $500 or more in the
beginning. yeah, it sucks but it's the tuition everyone pays UNLESS you're
already an old gun.
i would suggest:
1) at least read some books, like "super system" or "dan harrington on
holdem (tournament)";
2) watch how others play for a while.

long as you make the right decision, nothing to regret. yeah, it feels bad
when you have such an unlucky hand, but we all know what luck is.
it's hard to win an MTT, but once you win, you'll be fine for a while. |

it's more stable income than tournaments. |

because at bubble time, every chip is so priceless for this type of
tournaments (top X places get even money). if you have a good chance to
outlive other shorts by a few hands, just fold it.
big stacks would call you with any two cards since they can easily afford a
1/10, or even 1/20 of stack loss, and still 100% fine to get the prize.
it's normally very interesting that all these 33th, 34th, 37th etc. guys to
intentionally delay time here, just to see who can survive |

the dealer's hourly wage is very low, like $7/hr, and they count on tips a
lot, which can be about $20/hr.
as for tournament, you'd better give them something in the end if you finish
in money. normally the winner will get prize cash from the cage, walk
around the casino to find the dealers (who might be dealing cash games
afterwards), and drop each of them $10/$20 (depending on how big he wins).

发帖数: 167 | 35 现在自己都是“野打”，凭感觉，打得很紧，tournament开始阶段还挺凑效，到了后阶
段，特别是接近bubble的时候，就开始乱了手脚，特别是chip leader开始打得凶，落
后的兄弟们也不甘示弱，all in事件节节攀升，弄得自己躲躲闪闪，BB和SB被人弄走好
多，到最后即使进了bubble，也落在后面，无力回天。
所以感觉自己打得有问题，得看书学艺。

I raise to 9k and BB (2nd with 140k chip) raise me all in almost instantly.
The table just started so no read at this stage. I raised twice in the last
8-9 hands already and no showdown.

game. The question is, if assuming the probability of being dominated and
blind defending with weaker hand cancels out, whether it is worth going into
a known coin flip at this stage of tournament.
the downside of being eliminated vs upside of 2nd in chip count (almost 2x
of 3rd one) and image of not willing to be bluffed?
