I am quite new in XML, and currently I am running into a problem regarding
XML/XSL.
We know that we can transform an XML file to another XML file by using some
XSL file. Now we got the original XML file and the final output XML file, we
don't know if there is a way for us to find/generate an XSL file which can
fit in this transformation. If possible, could you tell us where can we find
more information on that.

Here is a solid element in Lagrange Coordinate System(CS).
I know now the stress and strain of it in local CS(element CS):
SIGMA[xx],
SIGMA[yy],
SIGMA[zz],
SIGMA[xy],
SIGMA[yz],
SIGMA[xz],
...
also geometry and points' coordinates, etc.
How could i build up the transform matrix to know global stress and strain,
Still more parameters required?
any fortran or C++ rountine for example?I am confussed of the tensor

function, "dx/dt" means the first derivative of x relative to t, "a" is the
exponential coefficient. Could anyone tell me what is the Fourier transform of
this function?
I can get the Fourier transform of sgn(x).(abs(x))^a from math handbook.

discrimimant analysis, denpendent variable is degree (graduate or not),
independent variable is hsgpa (high school gpa).
hsgpa is not normally distributed. Please see the attachment for QQplot of
hsgpa.
I applied the box-cox transformation to hsgpa to make it normal and below
is the result.

发帖数: 637 | 20 I use WaldChiSq, but I think r-squrare is also fine.
The former is more associated with the p-value intuitively. Plus, if
variable is itself very significantly, WaldChiSq has more scale to reflect
the changes before and after the transformation.
Visual check is very intuitive and effective but not efficient. My macro can
find optimal transformations for 50~100 variable in about 15 mins which is
very helpful in early screening stage.

transformation was very wrong and very misleading when he started it with "
业界". That's what pissed me off.
I have no problem with a boss saying what's the business meaning of this 3
way interaction or 2 way interaction. But the fact that a boss would
disapprove a monotone transformation of a predictor in the name of business

能够用normal或者gammar或者其他的什么分布来描述
我用的是sas的proc univariate histgram/normal weibull gamma...

只有box-cox中的特殊情况，也就是log transformation比较合适
但是问题是既是是这样也没有一个分布可以描述transform之后的数据
比如，approximately normal, but still not normal,
seems still left skewed...

type. you can get the lambda after you run the box-cox in sas, and you can
transform based on lambda. not sure whether it works to your problem. |
