stand. I haven't got any information from the court directly.
I haven't hired an attorney since I don't think it's a big deal. Most cases
will get settled before trial. And I was told by the attorney that the
insurance is good enough to cover the cost. But the case bugs me for several
times since the attorney kept asking for information, filling out forms and
etc.

damages,
the fault driver's insurance refused to pay me full repairs. I refused
their settlement amount since it is too little to repair the damages on my
car. my insurance policy is liability only, I do not have enough money to
pay the full repairs. So i hv to sue fault driver at small claim court, in
Chicago, IL.

FDA里有insider, 一般很难知道具体日期.
觉得赌这个很玄的, 十赌九输不好说, 七输总会有.而且公司有时会hide或delay 宣布
不好的interim analysis或 final analysis结果, 前些时候SGP的那个vytorin vs. simvastatin的Trial就是个例子. |

作为土生土长的中国人， 我深深感到语言上与native speaker的鸿沟，想过可能几年

management level的机会肯定是小之又小。
想为以后的职场路早做打算，却不知怎样规划（除了继续积累语言知识）。曾经的梦想

趣。这学期做了个clinical trial的rotation，觉得还行。不知道在这行混前景如何，
这个行业有没有意思？
duke没有具体的biostat degree，搞这个方向的人都分散在学校各个institute里。
rotation的advisor建议我去unc或者ncsu选修些这方面的课（triangle的这三所学校还
挺方便，可以互相随便选课），感觉这两所靠industry近点，到时候或许可以和这方面
的人多network一下 |

health care research 中心工作近1年，主要就是整理cohort，SAS分析. 这里很独立
，自由，只向MD PI汇报，工资也不错，但没有上升空间了。
还是觉得clinical trial 有意思，想再去established 药厂/CRO 找工作。但不了解药
厂/CRO到底如何。
想问这里的朋友，有必要折腾换工作吗?

it still require a placebo group, thus has three groups?
so in sample size calculation, to show the new drug has efficacy, we compare
the placebo and new drug groups, and we get a sample size;
to determine the equivalence, we compare the new drug and know drug groups,
and we calculate another sample size.
then the total sample size is adding these two together? is this correct?

发帖数: 425 | 48 就算MS 5年吧，觉得sr statistician做的挺没劲的，protocol, sap, analysis一套流
程下来，跟每天早饭吃稀饭似的，没味道了。好像这个行业强调的就是程序，你把这个
程序弄熟了，就算熟练工人了，然后就是熬年头了。SUMISSION我倒还没做过，不过至
少从外部看起来，就更程式化了。做STATISTICIAN做一阵了，怎么感觉跟看电梯压瓶盖
儿的活似的。
如果还想做统计，但不做clinical trial, 还有啥方向？
看到有人说银行，除了银行，还有做啥的？如果换工作，我这5年经验是不是也就白费
了？ |
