is a pretty decent deal. But $500 maybe a a little high. More importantly,
very likely, my LD will not approve it.
It looks like a guy @San Jose/Milpitas/Fremont also sells TT table. A double
fish 208 may cost below $400.

说的是乒乓球，又名Table Tennis。
小时候一直到高中，老爸怕我性格柔弱，或者怕我“学傻了”，
非常喜欢带我去打乒乓球，说这运动能练眼力，练爆发力，练反应能力。。。
现在想想，老爸说的蛮对，当时要是多打打乒乓少看书，也不至于像现在这样。。哎。。
我这人没啥优点，就是学东西快点儿。。。什么都学一会儿就很“厉害”了。。。
如果有兴趣+刻苦，那很快就上个新台阶儿啥滴。。。
可惜了，“这孩子聪明，就是不刻苦”----幼儿园钢琴老师。。。
这句话是我心中永远的痛哇。。。
回正题，跟老爸和老妈周末常常会去一个乒乓球馆，地方比较大，就不会觉得很拥挤。。
我开始学的时候，老爸还算耐心。很快就学会了推挡提拉。。我也觉得玩的挺带劲儿的
。。

etc.

i have the same situation as you do, it was not due to the passion
decrease i had to TT, but due to env change.
i like to live effectively, so in my current env., not willing to
drive even 20 miles to PATTC to play, just consider the overhead is
too big.
But it is always good to go slow, and solid improvement.
At my current local club, i average lose 1 match out of 8-10...very
hard to improve, so just enjoy playing and other stuffs... |

this is so true, there used to a delusion that if you beat a guy at
2000, u are at least 2000.
When i played at UM TT club, there were 2 ABCs rated me about 1850
since i could beat them consistently as one of the guys was 1800 level,
but it turned out i was just a 1550 player after i moved to bay area
to play USATT tournaments. |

wow, sounds like u knew him better than i did, i played him for many
years in PATTC, then stopped.
Last time i played him was right before SVTTC was shut down. I just
know he also switched around between tennis and TT, these 2 sports
do affect each other. Have not seen him since end of 07.
Your style is similar as his, but it seems his looping is smoother,
urs are more powerful. |

different skills would be put in more important task, but overall
for amateur level under 2200, the average rally, i would say: is
about 3-4, so serve/serve return would take at least 50% role in
competitive matches.
Only you improve those 2 skills can you focus on rally skills like
loop/footwork/stamina.
for guys under 1600, i would consider push is a lot more important
than loop. |

but it is too passive, totally depends on the serves.
the key for serve return is trying to neutranize the threat of opponent's

发帖数: 1341 | 33 最近和一个下chess的交流，发现chess rating和tt rating很相似
从0分左右到最高到2800左右（technically乒乓可以有负分，而chess100分起）
感觉难度也类似
区别在于chess里有很多称号
比如在2000–2199被定义为expert
2200-2399定义为大师(master)
还有：
Grandmaster 2600 and up
Senior master 2400–2599
照这样的话，板上还是有几个大师的！以后可以叫他们垃圾大师，里程碑大师之类的。。
而我们这样under 1600的只能被成为class C了
（lgb的U1600比赛可以叫做C类公开赛）
complete table:
Grandmaster 2600 and up
Senior master 2400–2599
Master 2200–2399
Expert 2000–2199
Class A 1800–1999
Class B 1600–1799
Class C under 1600

刚好昨天知道马路对面就有个跑道，放倒娃我就出去了
本来想跑400M repeat恢复恢复速度，结果那个跑道在修，坑洼不平，临时决定改跑5K。
虽然慢，好歹也是我第一个TT，纪念一下
上周五在treadmill上incline 1，5K 28分整
今天晚上，跑道，5K 27分10秒。
提前完成年底30分钟跑5K的计划哈 |

they said they add tungsten at the 10',2' of the racket. It does matter, if
you used both versions of TT hornet.
This is very interesting, please DO let me or us know where you get this
information? I am not familiar with Head rackets. But this news looks to me
could not be proved logically.

今晚就用老拍，打出十来个CLEAN WINNER，反手WINNER3-5个。球友面有尴尬。
我觉得有点开窍了，USTA LEAGUE 有点误导我了，当然我的比赛经验丰富了，也多了些
球友。
现在我要 -- MAKE EVERY SHOT A POWER SHOT。还要积极上网。还是想试试WARRIOR，
看是否有惊喜。
