我还在学校的时候，由于老板的钱没着落，就到grad school找了份grad student
assistant的工作，和TA/RA一样的待遇，老板还管不着我。我的工作是IT，从数据处理
畜报表到打印机坏了都要管。
有一次我坐在一个同事的位置上帮他fix电脑，这种办公室是开放的，有大窗口接待学
生的，我记得那是个专门处理grad student毕业的办公室，里面就一个白妞在办公，然
后我在修电脑。
然后一个女学生过来询问，看上去是个中东人，反正皮肤不是很白的那种。白妞上去接
待她，那么办公室做的，你们都知道的，和国内差不多是朝南坐的，白妞就是公事公办
。一般人吃了弹皮弓么，就算了，但那女生挺腻味的，一直在那里argue, 到后来双方
都有点不开心了。那么我忍不住了，就站起来对窗口的女生训了一句，意思就是让你去
fix,你就去fix,别在这里浪费时间了。呵呵，那女生就灰溜溜得走了。
呵呵，从此以后，白妞对我好的不得了，因为我也是学生，当时我站起来为她说话是
above and beyond的，她一直觉得我是侠义心肠英雄救美。

我们的学区连续好几年算是州里top 3的公共学区了， 高中更是全美头20的公立高中了
。可是有几件事让我对学校的老师有些看法
1. 去年我们老大小学毕业，我们定了本yearbook。 有次我翻看发现她2年纪时的老师
不在上面， 就问女儿，她怎么不在？ 女儿说她离开学校了。 就聊起来，女儿说这个
老师很mean，老对她吼，有一次当着全班的面，说我女儿，只有你的妈妈从来不来
volunteer。那一年我是老公在国内，我有正好刚换工作，只在valentine party去帮过
一次。
2. 老二是很多愁善感的。上一年纪时，老公住过一次医院动手术4天。 有天老二她们
presentation，家长们都被邀请去了。 完了以后，正好是她们的午餐时间。我就跟她
们一起去餐厅，帮老二把饭准备好，刚想走，就看见老二眼睛红了，我就留下来陪她吃
饭。有个餐厅里的工人走过来问我，你是她的妈妈吧，她这几天一直在哭，说爸爸病了
，在医院里。把我给心疼的。 可是我前一天刚跟老师meet完。老师说她一切正常。

2015年2月初，加勒比海，刚刚服役4年的新锐伯克级驱逐舰DDG 109, USS Jason
Dunham在此巡航，一台燃气轮机发电机组突发故障。
当时舰上有3台罗罗公司的AG 9140燃气轮机发电机组，单机功率3000kW，理论上1台故
障不影响任务。结果其中两台都坏了！这下不敢跑了，结果老老实实让拖船“拖”进了
古巴的美军关塔那摩湾海军基地。
具体是，2号发电机组的断路器发生故障，3号发电机组的燃气轮机的轴承故障，后者的

Tatchell have said that the singer took to drugs and drinks because she was
hiding her true sexuality.
Tatchell even insisted her marriage to Bobby Brown was a smokescreen, and
that she was "only really happy" in the 1980s when she was with a "lesbian
