小城市。本地人都觉得那里的学校不错，但是其实也就是那样吧。那里的房子很便宜。
塔城最贵的，是north of river, 是一个老钱的小区，还有在new watermelon road 那
边过去，是新的小区。也有不少老师住在那里。房子可能40万往上了。不少外国老师会
住在那里。但是主要还是白人，本地人，家里有全职妈妈的那种。有认识的从外地搬来
的白女老师表示，住在那里亚历山大的。但是高中好像都不怎么样。要不就上私校。但
是最好的私校据说是教会学校。所以有不少老师也住在伯明翰。开车要1个小时。比塔
城要适合居住（一家之言啊），购物，动物园，博物馆，飞机场，都在伯明翰。伯明翰
有几个好的学区。一个是Mountain Brook，传统的白人老钱区，有不少犹太人。学校挺
好。还有一个是vestavia hills，比mountain brook稍微便宜一点，房子新一点。一般
中国人住在那里的比较多。两个地方都是同样的保守排外。亚洲小孩会受到排挤。但是

Wood boards will break in 3 cycles if you machine wash them, or fall apart

倾家荡产发包子为LP今天的Interview求祝福。包子不多，100多个，唯请大家多多祝福。
LP怀孕的时候，身体不好，出了几次状况，就决定辞职回家，不奢求什么工作孩子两不
误。
生娃的时候，在医院熬了20多个小时，最后医生说必须剖，否则有生命危险。LP被推进
剖腹产产房，我在外面等待了10来分钟才允许进去。现在想来，那10分钟是我迄今为止
最揪心的时刻。在产房一直握住她的手，原先设想的什么拍摄、记录。。统统都是浮云
。唯一做的，就是握住手，相依为命，可能就是这样。
现在宝宝15个月了，粉嫩可爱，喊着妈妈爸爸。没特意找工，碰巧看到了对LP来说的这
个dream job。这也是辞职生娃以来，第一个和唯一一个申请。已经顺利通过了两次笔
试，今天下午是Interview。
希望朋友们的祝福能给LP带来好运！
BTW，包子可能要慢慢发到下周一或周二，见谅。
