Suddenly realize I am not sure where to send them:
I filed 485 after I-140 apprvoal. According to instruction of 485 online
form, I will mail it to Phoenix coz I live in IL. But the arroval notice 797
says "I-485...should be submitted with the appropriate fee, to this Serive
Center". The address in I-797 is TSC.

那里SFH比较便宜，30万左右就能拿下，连博士后都能负担的起，这个在好学区里算是
很少见的。所以很多UIC，阿甘，费米。。。的博士后都在那买房。就得了此名。
再广义一点，你可以把75街以南，WEHRLI以东的整个RANCHVIEW小学的管片算作博士村
。这一带房子也还可以，有贵的，但是大部分也就30-50万。住着很多中国人，当然包
括了很多有博士头衔的。 |

发帖数: 36302 | 19 现在COLLEGE/WEHRLI路以东这一带中国人太多了。
特别是COLLEGE以东很大一片现在划到RANCHVIEW小学后，RANCHVIEW小学中国孩子都快
泛滥成灾了。我儿子的班，现在6个半中国孩子，本来一个年级是3个班，现在重新划分
以后，加一个班，4个班了。
我前天和一个在SCOTT小学片的同事聊天，他说他女儿班上就她一个中国孩子，轻松就
进了快班。要在RANCHVIEW进快班，现在都很难了，想想，光中国孩子就这么多。
优点是卖房的时候容易，总有新的中印填进来，孩子能进肯尼迪，玩伴多。家长联系密
切，有事方便。
缺点是孩子从小就要接受残酷竞争。
SCOTT那一带就好多了，虽然上的是MADISON初中，但是MADISON也不算差。 |

先说说本人情况，现在东部二线城市（非boston,NYC,DC）双职工，我8万，lp5w，有个
刚上学的娃。刚刚拿到一个在SD的offer，12w，现在考虑是不是真的要relocate到西岸
去。好处当然是自己的工资增加50%，另外加州感觉文化更diversify，孩子可能更加容
易交到朋友。也有几个顾虑，首先就是房价，我们现在附近最好学区（US news gold
medal）的学区房，30年2000尺左右的townhouse，房价40万左右，不知道同样条件的房
子在SD附近要多少钱；其次lp是做公司财务会计的，不知道SD附近的就业市场如何，如
果找不到工作那我们的家庭总收入还下降了；最后是SD小学的文化氛围不知道怎么样，
我们这里90%都是很纯朴的白人家庭，亚裔黑人latino都很少，外来移民少也好也不好
，好处是孩子们都比较简单，不好的地方就是孩子班里就她一个亚裔。比较矛盾，望有
