允许的范围内调整了Camber kit，所以不用换Camber了。请问几个问题啊：
1.这次做了tire balance了，那下次Rotate tire的时候还需要重新balance吗？
2.虽然做了alignment和balance，但是现在车上了75-80迈还是有轻微的wandering（忽
左忽右），车铺说这个跟已经磨损的那个车胎有关系，下次换胎以后应该就不会了，因
为导致车胎磨损的mechanic问题已经解决（camber kit）——但是就算是这样，已经磨
损较重的那个车胎还是会继续以比其它三个车胎更快的速度磨损下去，还是会影响
driving handling。is it true？
3.回来后试开，发现方向盘还有有一点点偏右（就是在水平道路行驶时必须稍微往右边
一点点，但仅仅是一点点而已），这个跟那个单独的worn tire有关系吗？还是车铺的
alignment质量没过关呢？

what you are experiencing is call "warping"
What gumtx mean is:
you need to tight lug nuts evenly. tight nuts in a star pattern and
gradually. (star partten if your have 5 bolts, and cross pattern if you have
4 bolts.)
one cause for warping is that you tighten one nut fully tight first and
then move to the next one.
warping can also be caused by worn disc. did you only change the pad but
not the disc?

发帖数: 252 | 4 02年的烤肉啦，方向盘老是偏右，遂拿到local的车铺做了wheel alignment，因为高速
上有些wandering（就是有些飘忽，感觉失去方向控制），一并做了tire balance.
拿回来后试开，发现方向盘还有有一点点偏右（就是在水平道路行驶时方向盘必须稍微
往右边
一点点，如果保持方向盘straight，车子就会向左边跑），另外上了75迈车子还是会有
些wander（左右飘忽）。
回到车铺去问，人家说wheel alignment和tire balance一点问题没有，问题是我的四
个车胎当中，有一个车胎磨损得相对严重（但是还有15000迈左右），磨损原因应该是
camber有问题（但是他们已经免费帮忙调整好了），所以方向盘偏右和车子飘忽很可能
跟那个单独的worn tire有关系，他们拒绝返工，并说最终解决的办法是更换车胎。。。
请教一下高手车铺说的是真的吗，还是他们alignment的质量没过关呢？ |

worn out 刚上express way over heated. 往水箱里面加水以后 晚上8点 继续上
路 开了3个对小时 休息 加油 继续上路 又开了2个小时 到家 over...反正能
或者回来真是个奇迹..... |

Brake pads have wear indicator built in, you can hear them when almost gone.
some car also have warning light on dash that tell you it is time to change.
If you DIY, each set (4 pieces of brake pads) can be $15 to $50 in most
cases.
Each wheel should take you less than 10 min to do. If first time or only
have very basic tools, plan to spend 30 min on first on, and 15 min on
second one. |

关于档杆拉不动的问题，刹车下的一个开关，还有那个档杆上的按钮，要怎么找？从修
车手册上，是哪个问题？不好意思，我知道这个问得太细，但是我只能看着手册来弄。
同样的，关于换档震动，档位cable在修车手册上，是哪个问题？
在Autozone上查是Clutch Disc的问题，比如Contaminated Clutch or Pressure Plate
Surface，Worn or Damaged Clutch Pressure Plate或者Broken, Missing or Weak
Clutch Disc Springs。但是也有可能是档位cable的问题。
这个自动变速箱里面，也是有clutch的吧？

右，不过修车师傅劝我不用管它，就是尾气排放不干净，对发动机影响不大。我也查了
些资料，多数毛病应发生在vacuum valve 和 worn hoses,应该不是油箱盖子的问题。
时间长了，我也懒得管它了，实在看灯不顺眼，就打开前盖，拔出保险几秒reset。大
致又可开100-200miles （engine light off). 当然如果你修好了，不发发信给我交流

结果稍微加速吃点力就响的厉害。
是不是当时应该挂1档或者2档慢慢蹭啊？手动车咋办，挂挡摘档，还是总踩着离合？不

回来后去修车，开始说左前的车轴worn out了，换一个80，人力180.可以接受。换完还
响，再检查说
是变速箱挂了，只收了轴钱，没要人力，不建议修了。
我现在平路都要1档起步，5秒后到5Mile，换2档，蹭到10几mile换d，或者local就2档
一直开了。这
样危险不？感觉就起步慢点，之后没啥区别。trade in估计也就200刀，没钱换车呀，

3. Right outer CV boot worn $323

今天去店里拿的时候，店员说店里就剩四个了，找了半天没找到，
最后说铱金的也可以，价钱也一样，无奈就只好拿上了，
回来又吭哧吭哧半天给装上，刚开始点着发现怠速高 大概1200， 还不稳，
踩刹车都会跳，然后开出去转了一圈就好了，
感觉转速提高比以前快了，发动机也稳一点了，（以前有一个已经严重 worn了） |

you can check by yourself (you may need to take off the caps). the metal
spring strip touches the rotor and makes squeaking noise when brake pad worn
out and needs to be replaced. when this happens, usually there is still
about 20~30% left. |

worn out. Try to use wd40 to lubricate them to see if the problem goes away.
This is usually the most common source of your squeaking noise and the
cheapest one to fix.
KEEP IN MIND, wd 40 is only a temporary solution, if you locate the source
of the problem, have the bushings replaced with grease applied. Usually you
can do it by yourself, but a normal mechanic shop will charge you only $10-$

strut漏气也是逐渐漏的，人也在逐渐适应，所以即使是strut失去缓冲功能，可能我开

drive, and listen for 'click' sound. If you hear it, the CV joint was worn.
You need to clean the joint (remove sand and dust) if you replace the boots
only.
'You can still drive it until when the CV joint completely breaks down and
the car stops moving.' This is an advice I heard from a friend and was
confirmed by a mechanic. |
