I major in Finance in China, and MBA focus on Finance in US. I know in NYS
before CPA exam, I need to take 150 hours Accounting courses. So my
questions are:
1. How could I evaluate the educational credentials for my bachelor's
outside the US and master's within US?
2. If I am not elegible for licensure based on 150 semester hours of
education, whether Becker or other review companies could provide certain

We got the similar situation just in different State Board, I am in CA.
I did the following before prepare for the exam:
1) You need to get your Chinese Transcript (officially sealed, send directly
from your school) evaluate by the AICPA approved agencies. You can find the
list from AICPA website. The fee the the express service is around $300.
They will normally provide one copy for you, and one copy for the State
Board.
2) Order the official Transcript from your US University, let the scho | r*****f

your undergrad credit and MBA credit hours count too
but you'll need 18-24 Accounting credit hours, depending on which state you
are applying for

发帖数: 191 | 8 I tailored my MBA in finance with extra two courses: Business Law & Federal
Income Tax. I sent my undergraduate (major in Acct)transcript to NYS
education board for evaluation. Then I am qualified for the exam under 150
credits requirement in NYS. No matter where you received credits, always
sent them to NYS BOA for evaluation. NYS Board of Accountancy will decides.
