Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Support corporate Controller in establishing and monitoring
proper accounting policies and procedures
• Maintain the general ledger system, and work directly on sales
commission, fixed assets, accruals, prepaids, and other general ledger
related journal entries
• Work closely with teammates and manage the monthly closing
process
• Prepare monthly internal financial statements and involve in the
discussion and analysis with management
• Prepare financial analysis such as cash flow, operational metrics
, cost analysis, pricing metrics, and related calculators
• Assist on annual audits and tax preparations including necessary
filings and related planning
• Works with staff and management to support on-going business
planning, projection and budget process
• Research accounting treatment related to key accounting issues in
accordance with US GAAP and properly document findings in memorandum
• Perform other finance and accounting duties as assigned
Essential Education, Experience and Interests:
• A bachelor’s degree in financial or accounting area required
• CPA required
• Minimum three years of experience in accounting
• Mix of public accounting and industry experience a plus
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls and financial
reporting
• Strong analytical and technical accounting skills
• Ability to work independently and also work closely with other
members as a financial resource
• Ability to work on and prioritize multiple projects while meeting
required goals and deadlines
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel
• Advanced Excel knowledge required
• Experience with Intacct a plus
• Attention to detail and excellent judgment and use of discretion | m******t
