。现在有几个问题：
1. Can I plea guilty and bargain with the assistant district attorney to
reduce it to a non-moving violation (such as improper equipment) on the
court date? Do I have to find a lawyer to plea not guilty and fight against
it so that it can be reduced to a non-moving violation (such as improper
equipment)? This way there will be no points and the insurance won't
inscrease.
2. Do I need to provide a driving history/record to the assistant district
attorney to show I'm a good driver?
3. Do I need to find a lawyer? I was told this is how the system works: the
lawyer will make the district attorney dismiss the ticket. However, if I
plea not guilty myself, it's usually very difficult. Is this true?
4. Where is community service is usually at, my city or the district

发帖数: 964 | 2 第一个问题，如果 plea guilty 就是认罚，扣点罚款，没有bargain了，也见不到ADA
或者法官。
想要 bargain 必须要对罚单 not guilty。根据罚单发出地区的流程不同：
1. 有的地方是见ADA和法官，ADA提出一个轻一点的 violation，如果你接受这个较轻
的处罚，交钱扣分，如果不接受就约时间开庭审理；
2. 有的地方可以写信申诉；
3. 有的地方直接上庭审理； | f*******n

you have to plea guilty and then use PJC, which spare you from any point in
the insurance (it's like it's removed from the system). Is this true? |
