is excellent. Free maintenance for oil, fluid, wiper blades... And I was
surprised they changed all my four brake pads for free after 25000 miles. |

GC has 3 year bumper to bumper warranty, which covers everything. X3 has 4
year bumper to bumper I believe. After that, you can go to any mechanical
shop to fix GC but only BMW dealers to fix X3. Same problem costs at least
twice the price for X3.

TSB from BMW. They set it up wrong @ 25000 miles instead of 50000 miles. And
they reset mine to 50000 miles when I went to service last time so I won't
get a free brake pad change : (

If follow the factory schedule it won't have more problems than most of the
DFBB in the first 4 years.

maintenance, and things like brake pads, as well, a loaner car is also
provided.

发帖数: 1007 | 19 GC's bumper to bumper does not cover maintenance. It only covers "defects"
and maintenance is not a defect. For the same reason, brake pads are not
covered unless you can prove it is defective. However, every defective part
in the car is covered.
X3 includes maintenance, brake pads because you've already paid the price.
As for maintenance, the real maintenance you need is JUST engine oil change.
Don't let the dealers fool you on transmission fluid change, transmission
flush, blah blah blah... That's all bullshit!
