发帖数: 16778 | 21 I used the same method. but I would like to share my experience. I think it
is a little bit better than yours.
first, don't use deep socket. Instead, use standard socket. because the
space there is limited.
second, use oil pan with smaller height. it will make you remove the bolt
more easily.
third, never use foot to remove/tighten any bolts in your car.
go to homedepot and buy a steel/iron pipe and use it as extension.
it will make you remove or tighten bolts ten times easier.
lastly, when tighen any bolts in your car, use torque wrench to tighten it
to setting torque. this will increase your car's life. |

I just hate it.
I used the exactly same method to change oil.
but I used more advanced wrench, socket, torque wrench.
My tools include:
1) torque wrench
2) break bar (in case the bolt is too tight to be loosen).
3) flex-head wrench
The wrench's head is flexible, so it is more expensive than standard wrench.
it is very convenient to use it in some narrow space like under the oil pan.
4) home-made steel pipe.
I use it as extension. you can buy them at any hardware store.
I got mine from a used baby cart.
My extension piple includes three pieces. each piece is separated. depending
on
how hard I remove bolts, I can connect/separate them together very easily.
If I connect the three pieces together, the total length reaches 4 feet.
The smallest piece is only half feet.
no bolts cannot be loosen with it.

open the oil cap on the engine.
this way, oil can move faster.
I want oil to move faster so that engine is more clean.
and my little tip.
I normally change oil just after I park my car and the engine is very hot.
I don't care whether the hot oil hurts me or not.
this way, the dirty oil will all be drained.
it is very effective.

性很差，但热车后机油流动性好很多，在上面抽油根本不是问题。
现在油滤在上边的车dealer都这么换，如果泵好用几分钟的事，不用left车，不用躺在
地上，衣服都不脏。

when we deal with car maintence at home, the number 1 issue is safety.
the number 2 is cost.
I would suggest that a fat man uses a floor jack and jack stands to change
oil.
If you have a decent floor jack. Lifting a car and putting stands under it
just
takes about 30 seconds.
And a floor jack and jack stands is a tool you must have for car
maintainence.

PAN，特别是用在新车上，很划算。洗手都不用洗！ |
