There is no proven evidence that they work, and
there is no short supply of evidence that they don't (one
of the PTFE-based additive manufacturer was sued by FTC
for making false claims, and DuPont refused to sell TEFLON
particles to another additive maker because DuPont didn't believe
that TEFLON would do what the additive maker claimed).
I have personally tried two, MotorUp and DuraLube, and I
