According to the Seattle Post Intelligencer, Carlos Silva is uncertain to
make
his final scheduled start of the season Thursday because of ongoing back
problems.
Silva coughed up five runs in 3 1/3 innings in his last start and is 4-15
with
a 6.46 ERA in 28 starts overall, so skipping him could hurt the Mariners'
draft
position.
