some computer sci. courses, esp the unix and some languagel
like c(++) and perl.
some life sci. course. esp the molecular
biology,biochemistry and biophysics.
some mathematical coures I didn't take yet.
Out of my expectation, Math background is the first
bottle-neck to me at present.Lots of formula in Bioin. is
hard for me to understand, though not hard to use. what I am
doing is just kind of memory job, without knowing how they
are proved.
What could be foreseen is the life sci. background wil | c**********c
发帖数: 5 | 2 Bioinformatics program is usually a hybrid of computer, molecular biology, and statistics. Sometimes include informatics, in my case, here are the courses:
Computer courses:
1. Unix operating system;
2. C/C++;
3. data structure and algorithm;
4. database management system;
5. Java/perl (learn by myself).
Molecular biology(I came from a biology background, but here is what they required):
1. introduction to molecular biology;
2. introduction to biochemistry;
3. introduction to genetics;
