National Academy of Sciences
Members and Foreign Associates Elected
The National Academy of Sciences today announced the election of 72 new
members and 18 foreign associates from 15 countries in recognition of their
distinguished and continuing achievements in original research.
Those elected today bring the total number of active members to 2,113 and
the total number of foreign associates to 418. Foreign associates are
nonvoting members of the Academy, with citizenship outside the United States.

里面有好些人我以为早就是院士了。。
比如Manley,Malenka,Gottschling,Bartel...已经学霸很多年了。。

Jacbosen 这几年窜升的快啊。。。没办法,领域热门。。
当然院士之间也是有差距得。。。我不会认为steve达到了joseph Ecker或者Johanne
Chory得级别。
