Cheng Lab, Department of Human Nutrition, Food and Exercise, Virginia Tech.
Motivated professionals, who are interested in research on type 2 diabetes,
obesity and cancer [1-7], are welcome to apply. Strong background/expertise
in biochemistry, molecular biology and/or cell biology is required. Previous
experience in signal transduction pathway analysis [1-3,5-7], mitochondrial
function [2,6,7], or redox (oxidation/reduction biochemistry) regulation [4
,7] of apoptosis or autophogy is a plus. Applications should include a
curriculum vitae, preferably with a cover letter describing the applicant's
previous research, future research interest(s) and career goal, and be
addressed to Dr. Cheng at z****[email protected] or zhiyong.
