发帖数: 99 | 1 One (of two) PhD research assistant position is available for Spring 2013 at
bioinformatics lab in School of Computing, Clemson University. We are
collaborating with researcher from USDA to study the disease resistance
related genes in citrus using next-generation sequence technology. The major
researches are focused on developing new algorithms and methodologies to
analyze next-generation sequencing data.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Research experience on next-generation sequence analysis. RNA-Seq
analysis experience is a plus.
• Programming skill.
• Solid background knowledge about genomics and genetics.
• Strong mathematic and statistic knowledge. (This is important for
student to pass the difficult data structure, algorithm courses in our
department)
• Good GRE and TOEFL scores.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Student with Master degree (or equivalent) and research experiences in
Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Genetics or related area who would like to
get a PhD degree in Computer Science.
