We are inviting applications for 2 new tenure track faculty positions in the
Brain Science Institute at the Johns Hopkins University (see http://www.brainscienceinstitute.org/). The applicants should have interests in synapses and circuits in normal brain function or in cognitive disorders such as autism, schizophrenia and Alzheimer's disease. Applicants should be using molecular, cellular, developmental, systems or behavioral methods, have a Ph.D. or M.D., and a strong record of research accomplishments. Faculty will receive primary appointments in a relevant Department such as Neuroscience, Neurology or Psychiatry. Faculty members are expected to establish creative active independent research programs and participate in teaching graduate and medical students. Deadline for applications is November 1, 2012.
